Papers in Regional Science is the official journal of the Regional Science Association International. It encourages high quality scholarship on a broad range of regional science topics. Coverage includes: innovation and spatial knowledge spillovers, spatial networks and clusters, regional labour markets, spatial econometrics, behavioral location models, transportation and migration, land use and urban development, spatial agglomeration and segregation, new economic geography, inter-industry analysis and trade, environment and natural resources, urban and regional development, geographical information systems and spatial data analysis.

Founded in 1995, parallax has established an international reputation for bringing together outstanding new work in cultural studies, critical theory and philosophy. parallax publishes themed issues that aim to provoke exploratory, interdisciplinary thinking and response. Each issue of parallax provides a forum for a wide spectrum of perspectives on a topical question or concern. parallax will be of interest to those working in cultural studies, critical theory, cultural history, philosophy, gender studies, queer theory, post-colonial theory, English and comparative literature, aesthetics, art history and visual cultures.Guest Editions:parallax regularly publishes issues compiled by guest-editors. Parenting: Science and Practice is a quarterly international and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal that seeks to publish rigorous empirical, methodological, applied, review, theoretical, perspective, and policy pieces relevant to parenting; contributions from the humanities and biological sciences as well as the social sciences are invited. The journal also publishes notices of books and other publications or media representations relevant to a scientific approach to parenting. Departments Parenting: Science and Practice has five main departments: Inquiries about prospective submissions to any department should be addressed to the Editor (email: Marc_H_Bornstein@nih.gov). * Empirical Articles. The journal is principally committed to the publication of empirical articles. Creative, comprehensive, and clear reports that advance theory and the empirical base in the field of parenting studies are sought, and all modes of empirical research are invited: experimental, observational, ethnographic, textual, interpretive, and survey. * Reviews. Reviews of the literature may be empirically grounded or theoretical; they should be scholarly, integrative, and timely, synthesizing or evaluating an issue relevant to parenting. (Published reviews are sometimes accompanied by a small number of solicited commentaries from specialists in parenting as well as in allied fields.) * Statements. Statements provide a forum for the rapid dissemination of new hypotheses, fresh concepts, alternative methods, or emerging trends. Statements should be tightly reasoned and empirically grounded and must be cogent and succinct. Statements should not exceed 3,000 words in length. * Tutorials. Parenting publishes occasional tutorials that debut a new concept in parenting or explore the intersection of parenting with an academic specialty pertinent to parenting studies. These papers define the concept or the field, crystallize its major contributions, detail direct associations with parenting, and augur future directions of application. * Media Notices. Summaries and evaluations of books, periodicals, websites, and other media that concern themselves with parenting studies or practices will appear in the journal. Send relevant material to the Editor. Additional Features Thematic Issues Parenting: Science and Practice welcomes proposals for Thematic Issues. Thematic Issues need to have components that link together closely in some meaningful conceptual or theoretical way, and the proposer of a Thematic Issue becomes the Guest Editor. Thematic Issues may be invited or open competitions, but all submissions must be peer reviewed. Individuals interested in developing a Thematic Issue should send the Editor a brief proposal and justification. Some proposals may be more appropriate for the Monographs in Parenting series. Media Notices Parenting: Science and Practice will publish summaries and evaluations of books, periodicals, Web sites, and other media that concern themselves with parenting studies and childcare practices. Parliamentary Affairs is an established, peer-reviewed academic quarterly covering all the aspects of government and politics directly or indirectly connected with Parliament and parliamentary systems in Britain and throughout the world. The journal is published in partnership with the Hansard Society. The Society was created to promote parliamentary democracy throughout the world, a theme which is reflected in the pages of Parliamentary Affairs.

The Times Higher Education Supplement Parliamentary History provides a forum for current research and general interest articles covering the history of parliamentary institutions in the British Isles (including the Scottish and Irish Parliaments) from the Middle Ages to the Twentieth Century. The journal also encompasses legislatures of British colonies before independence, their origin, development and historical importance. The first issue of each volume is dedicated to a specialist area and gives you an expert overview of a specific topic.

Parliaments, Estates & Representation - Parlements, Etats et Representation is the journal of the International Commission for the History of Representative and Parliamentary Institutions (ICHRPI) - Commission internationale pour l'histoire des Assemblees d'Etats (CIHAE). The aims of the journal, as of the Commission, are to promote research into the origin, growth and development of representative and parliamentary institutions throughout the world in all periods. In particular, it encourages the study of the development of representative institutions in a wide and comparative way. It facilitates the international exchange of bibliographical information. It is concerned with the political theory and institutional practice of representation as well as with the internal organization, political culture and the social and political background to parliaments and assemblies of estates. Representative urban institutions and international parliamentary organizations also fall within its remit. The journal publishes scholarly articles covering the whole spectrum of the history of representative institutions up to the present day. Partial Answers is an international, peer reviewed, interdisciplinary journal that focuses on the study of literature and the history of ideas. This interdisciplinary component is responsible for combining analysis of literary works with discussions of historical and theoretical issues. The journal publishes articles on various national literatures including Anglophone, Hebrew, Yiddish, German, Russian, and, predominately, English literature. Partial Answers would appeal to literature scholars, teachers, and students in addition to scholars in philosophy, cultural studies, and intellectual history.

Party Politics is a peer reviewed journal dedicated to the study of this integral component within political science. This major international journal provides a forum for the analysis of political parties, including their historical development, structure, policy programmes, ideology, electoral and campaign strategies, and their role within the various national and international political systems of which they are a part.

Pastoral Psychology is an international interdisciplinary forum for the publication of peer-reviewed original papers that discuss the work of caring for, understanding, and exploring human beings as persons, in families, in small groups, and in community. The journal brings the best of psychological, behavioral, social, and human sciences research into critical engagement with pastoral concerns (local, institutional, societal, political, international, and other). The journal thoughtfully examines and discusses pastoral care and counseling, pastoral theology, psychology of religion, and the multidimensional interface between psychology and religion/spirituality. All theoretical perspectives are welcome, including, but not limited to, psychoanalytic and other depth psychologies, experimental and empirical psychologies, humanistic psychology, transpersonal psychology, and cultural psychology. Insights from existential perspectives, gender studies, phenomenology, sociology, anthropology, and cultural studies are welcome. Theoretical contributions that have direct or indirect relevance for practice, broadly construed, are especially desirable, as our audience includes not only academics and scholars in religion and psychology, but also religious and spiritual leaders and others, such as chaplains, social workers, counselors, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists. Pastoral Psychology welcomes scholarship and reflection from all religious and spiritual traditions.
