We are pleased to announce that an electronic submission and handling system, EES, has been implemented for Journal of Informetrics. The journal, although limited to -metrics aspects, has a broad scope: in principle, all quantitative analysis of original problems in information science are within the scope of JOI. Besides its generality, Journal of Informetrics focusses on papers describing fundamental methods and theories and/or universally important data, gathered in a non-trivial way. Fundamental methods comprise mathematical, probabilistic or statistical models and techniques as well as methods in operational research. These methods can serve the quantitative explanation of certain phenomena, evaluation of information and its producers as well as the management of libraries and other information centres.Journal of Informetrics has a special (though not exclusive) interest in inter- and multi-disciplinary papers, dealing with common aspects of (or possible differences between) several neighbouring disciplines such as quantitative linguistics, econometrics, biometrics and other -metrics fields. The aim is to lower the barriers between these fields, hence avoiding reformulation of similar problems, theories and solutions. Journal of Informetrics also welcomes certain papers from researchers who do not consider themselves as informetrists, for example research papers would be considered on the graph-theoretic description of networks.Journal of Informetrics also publishes papers that improve standardisation in informetrics. In general the journal aims to contribute to increasing the degree of "hardness" of the field, and to increase the degree of "exactness" of the scientific field of informetrics.The journal covers informetrics and considers it to comprise (or at least to include) fields such as bibliometrics, scientometrics, webometrics and cybermetrics. Specific topics can be described (non-exhaustively) as follows: informetric laws (including, but not exclusively: Lotka, Zipf, Bradford, Mandelbrot but also laws of growth and ageing or obsolescence) hereby also modelling generalised bibliographies, aspects of inequality or concentration (e.g. Lorenz theory) and diffusion, citation theory, linking theory, downloads, indicators (definitions and properties), evaluation techniques for scientific output (literature, persons) and for documentary systems (information retrieval) incl. ranking theory, library management, graph-theoretic and topological analysis of networks (incl. Internet, intranets, citation and collaboration networks), visualisation and mapping of science (persons, fields, institutes, topics,...).

Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies (JLOS), peer-reviewed and published quarterly, seeks to advance the theory, research and practice of all aspects of leadership and organizations. Research results are preferred, but theoretical contributions and new applications are also appropriate. Although leadership topics are emphasized, any area of interest in organizational behavior, human resource management, strategy, international management, or entrepreneurship is also encouraged.

Journal of Management Control (JoMaC) is an international journal concerned with the formal, information-based routines and procedures managers use to maintain or alter patterns in organizational activities. Particular emphasis is placed on operational and strategic planning and control systems and the processes and techniques. 
JoMaC was founded as the 'Zeitschrift für Planung und Unternehmenssteuerung' in 1990 and has a strong reputation as a dedicated academic journal open to high-quality research on all aspects of management control. 

The journal covers such topics as: the role of management control systems in the management of companies and non-profit organizations: the design and use of planning systems for production, marketing, logistics and other fields of use: the interaction between strategic and operational aspects of management control: the role of management accountants and other internal and external service providers, such as financial accountants, auditors and consultants: change and the sustainability of management control systems.

The Journal of Managerial Psychology (JMP) has a unique focus on the psychological and social understanding and impact of management in organizations.

Manufacturing is undergoing major transformation due to the unforeseen challenges arising from the current trend of miniaturization, the emergence of new materials and the growing interaction between biologists and engineers to learn more from nature and living objects.Traditionally, a "top-down" approach has been used in manufacturing. Recently, engineers and scientists have begun exploring "bottom-up" approaches for manufacturing today's highly complex products. JM2 provides a forum those in business and management modelling. It analyses the conceptual antecedents and theoretical underpinnings leading to research modelling processes which inform research and practice.
