Scope and subject areas Experimental Physiology publishes Research Papers which report the results of original research in most areas of physiology (follow link below for table). These are normally limited to 6,000 words including legends and references Papers should embrace the journal's orientation of translation and integration. Specifically, we are keen to receive manuscripts that deal with both physiological and pathophysiological questions that investigate gene/protein function using molecular, cellular and whole animal approaches. In addition pertinent methodological papers are encouraged as are manuscripts that use computational models to further our understanding of physiological processes. Experimental and Clinical Endocrinology & Diabetes publishes outstanding articles from all fields of endocrinology and diabetology. From molecular biology to clinical research, the journal covers all aspects of these fields. Original contributions and commentaries appear in each issue along with reviews addressing current topics.

FEBS Open Bio is an online-only Open Access journal for the rapid publication of research articles in molecular and cellular life sciences in both health and disease.
