BMC Medical Education is an open access journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in relation to the training of healthcare professionals, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education. The journal has a special focus on curriculum development, evaluations of performance, assessment of training needs and evidence-based medicine.
BMC Medical Ethics is an open access journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in relation to the ethical aspects of biomedical research and clinical practice, including professional choices and conduct, medical technologies, healthcare systems and health policies.
BMJ Sexual and Reproductive Health publishes material on contraception, abortion, menopause, sexual and reproductive health, sexual dysfunction, sexually transmitted infection, clinical practice, and health education and training. We welcome submissions of research, reviews, and articles and commentaries relevant to all health care professionals working in the area of sexual and reproductive health. While it is not currently a requirement, we actively encourage patient involvement in the design, analysis and presentation of research.
BSHM Bulletin is the journal of the British Society for the History of Mathematics (BSHM), whose aims are to promote research into the history of mathematics and to encourage its use at all levels of mathematics education. BSHM Bulletin publishes articles, reports, and book reviews on a range of historical topics. The journal welcomes contributions which have theoretical or empirical emphasis as well as papers that take a political economy approach to research on transitional economies, primarily Baltic or Central European economies. However, the journal welcomes high-quality publications on other countries, if the topic is relevant for the Baltic region. Papers with policy relevance or which combine economic theory with empirical findings are particularly welcome.
The Journal aims to stimulate dialogue between scientists in social science, policy makers as well as other decision makers involved with economic development in the Baltic states. In order to make the journal relevant to a wide audience of academics trained in the social sciences the articles should be presented in a form where explanations and the intuition behind the conclusions should be given priority above technical derivations.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees.
