Materials World is specifically devoted to the engineering materials cycle, from mining and extraction, through processing and application, to recycling and recovery. Editorially, it embraces the whole spectrum of materials and minerals – metals, plastics, polymers, rubber, composites, ceramics and glasses – with particular emphasis on advanced technologies, latest developments and new applications, giving prominence to the topics that are of fundamental importance to those in industry.
Materials at High Temperatures publishes peer reviewed contributions relating to high temperature applications in the power, chemical, engine, processing and furnace industries.
Mechanics of Composite Materials publishes original experimental and theoretical research on the mechanical properties and behavior of composite materials as well as matrices and fibers. Coverage includes: strength and fracture; damage mechanics and fatigue; numerical methods and optimal design of structures; prediction of long-term properties, effect of environment, ageing; nondestructive testing; mechanical aspects of technology, rheology of polymer melts and biocomposites. This bimonthly journal is a translation of the peer reviewed Russian language journal, Mekhanika Kompozitnykh Materialov.
NJC (New Journal of Chemistry) is a broad-based primary journal encompassing all branches of chemistry and its sub-disciplines. It publishes high-quality work that opens new directions in chemistry or in other scientific disciplines. Research must demonstrate that it will have an impact on areas of research other than that of the reported work.
he majority of Maney journals are published online via the ingentaconnect platform, with one exception published online via HighWire.Access to the full text of each volume is available free of charge to subscribers with a paid-up subscription to that volume. (Some exceptions apply.) Subscribers are also given access in perpetuity to all previous volumes to which they held a paid-up subscription. For non-subscribers, there is a standard price for all articles and issues available online within each journal. All articles and issues from our archives that are more than 10 years old have a significantly reduced rate – special rates also apply in some instances for special issues and supplements. All prices are indicated next to the article or issue hosted online.
Polymer Composites is the engineering and scientific journal serving the fields of reinforced plastics and polymer composites including research, production, processing, and applications. PC brings you the details of developments in this rapidly expanding area of technology long before they are commercial realities.
Powder Metallurgy is an international journal publishing peer reviewed original research on the science and practice of powder metallurgy; and news of technological and commercial developments in the industry and PM community. Coverage is broad, encompassing hard materials, ceramics, and composites in addition to metallic PM materials, and ranging from the production, handling, and characterisation of powders, through compaction and sintering and other consolidation routes, to the properties, secondary processing, and applications of PM components.
Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics covers topics of the theory, manufacturing technology, and properties of powder; technology of forming processes; the technology of sintering, heat treatment, and thermo-chemical treatment; properties of sintered materials; and testing methods. Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics is a translation of the peer-reviewed Ukrainian journal Poroshkovaya Metallurgiya.

At the heart of open access for the global chemistry community. RSC Advances publishes advances in chemistry, and in topics of interest to the chemistry community.
RSC Applied Interfaces is a dedicated, interdisciplinary reference journal for cutting-edge research on the applications of surfaces and interfaces. In addition to the applied focus, work considered for publication in RSC Applied Interfaces is expected to be highly original and of top quality. Research papers should highlight the role of interfaces (morphology and composition) and interfacial processes in determining a material’s properties and functionalities. The journal seeks to report major scientific advances beyond the state of the art, at the cutting edge of this interdisciplinary field. Our RSC Applied journals are dedicated to materials science research with a strong focus on innovation in the application, and sit alongside Journals of Materials Chemistry A, B and C in terms of quality and impact.
RSC Sustainability welcomes all solutions-focused research dedicated to solving sustainability challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, technologies to achieve responsible consumption and production of chemical products (UN’s SDG:12), such as for the efficient use of nature’s resources, the elimination of hazardous substances in the production and use of chemical products (sustainable and green chemistry), their reuse and recycling (circular economy) and methods to analyse these (techno-enviro-economics). Beyond this, RSC Sustainability champions chemical science discoveries that contribute to and enable any of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, celebrates multidisciplinary collaboration, and welcomes work from the academic, industry, regulatory and government sectors.
