As climate change is happening and mankind is likely to increase its burden on the environment, European environmental politics and its legal implementation across an enlarged EU is becoming ever more important. The Journal for European Environmental and Planning Law provides a unique intellectual forum for debating and analysing European environmental policies and law. Its aim is to facilitate an enhanced Community wide common understanding of how European environmental policy and law are regulated, transposed and implemented in different Member States.

The Journal of Air Transport Management (JATM) sets out to address, through high quality research articles and authoritative commentary, the major economic, management and policy issues facing the air transport industry today. It offers practitioners and academics an international and dynamic forum for analysis and discussion of these issues, linking research and practice and stimulating interaction between the two.The refereed papers in the journal cover all the major sectors of the industry (airlines, airports, air traffic management) as well as related areas such as tourism management and logistics. Papers are blind reviewed, normally by two referees, chosen for their specialist knowledge. The journal provides independent, original and rigorous analysis in the areas of:• Policy, regulation and law• Strategy• Operations• Marketing• Economics and finance• SustainabilityPapers are welcomed covering key industry developments and trends, such as changes in government thinking towards air transport; evolving competitive environments and new industry structures; emerging and maturing markets and changing customer needs; sustainability and security challenges; and industry innovation and technological developments.In addition to normal papers, JATM also contains 'Notes' articles. These are short articles not exceeding 2500 words in length (including any references, footnotes, tables and figures). They should be self-contained papers, of either a theoretical or applied nature, that provide a stimulating approach to address a major and topical management or policy issue. They should not be review papers, indeed lengthy reviews of previous work should be avoided, and instead notes should succinctly address the topic in hand. The notes are subject to the normal blind refereeing process to maintain the high standards of the journal.

Co-sponsored by Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Science Press, the Journal of Arid Land is an international peer-reviewed journal which explores sustainable development and eco-environmental management and focuses on the arid and semi-arid lands in Central Asia and the world at large.The journal covers such topics as the dynamics of natural resources (including water, soil and land, organism and climate), the security and sustainable development of natural resources, and the environment and the ecology in arid and semi-arid lands, especially in Central Asia. The Journal of Environmental Economics and Management publishes theoretical and empirical papers devoted to specific natural resource and environmental issues. To warrant publication in JEEM papers should address new empirical findings that are of interest to a broader audience, theoretical analyses explaining new phenomena or puzzles, or development of theoretical or empirical methods likely being useful for further research.Topics of interest include but are not limited to:• Analysis of environmental policy • Further development of valuation techniques and novel applications of valuation techniques to new data sets • Study of environmental behavior and responses to regulation • Analyses of exhaustible, renewable and non-renewable, resources and resource policy, notably the economics of fisheries, forestry and fossil fuels • Analyses of the carbon cycle, accumulating pollutants, such as greenhouse gases • Environmental problems in developing countries, such as degradation of natural resources and health problems caused by pollution • Topics of energy economics related to the environment • Topics of agricultural economics related to the environmentWe also welcome interdisciplinary work as far as it addresses environmental or resource economic issues requiring expertise beyond economics. Since JEEM is an economics journal, we do not publish papers that just combine methods of different disciplines but do not address economic issues in the first place.We usually do not publish papers that replicate standard empirical findings, or apply standard empirical methods to new but similar data sets. We usually do not publish theoretical analyses that are merely minor extensions or variations of known models and results. We do not publish papers that only marginally touch upon natural resource and environmental economics issues.In our review process, we prescreen all papers and immediately reject some. This includes papers we do not consider a good fit in terms of topic or methodology. This also includes papers that fall short of our high scientific standards. We will not reconsider papers already rejected for publication by JEEM, unless the editor in his or her decision letter explicitly leaves open this possibility.

The Journal of Environmental Engineering and Landscape Management is a research journal produced by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) and acknowledged by The Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and The International Academy of Ecological and Life Protection Sciences (IAELPS), which is an associate member of the Public Information Department of the United Nations.

The Journal of Environmental Engineering and Landscape Management is an international medium for the publication of original research on the environment with emphasis on changes caused by human activities and international research towards sustainability. The scope is multidisciplinary and international and the subjects covered include atmosphere and air pollution control and pollution mitigation technologies, water pollution control and pollution mitigation technologies, soil pollution control and pollution mitigation technologies, entrails of the earth, their protection, waste management, zero-waste technologies, environmental expertise, control over physical and technological environmental impacts and reduction technologies, nuclear hydro physics and radioactive pollution, modelling environmental processes, environmental monitoring, landscape protection, environmental ethics, environmental law and management, quality of indoor and outdoor environment. Besides, it publishes short reports and observations, reviews and bibliography, reports on conferences and workshops.

Publication of the Journal is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania.

Starting from 1995, Journal of Environmental Engineering was published instead of proceedings from the previous research Environmental Protection of Vilnius Technical University (2 issues since 1993). For the period of 1995-1998, 6 issues were published (2 issues per year). From 1998, Journal of Environmental Engineering started to be published in volumes (1 volume, 4 issues per year). Since 2003, the Journal has been published under its current title - Journal of Environmental Engineering and Landscape Management - (1 volume, 4 issues per year) with proceeded issue numeration accepting the articles in English and Lithuanian.

The Journal of Environmental Policy & Planning is an international journal that provides a forum for the critical analysis of environmental policy and planning. The Journal of Environmental Quality (JEQ) is a bimonthly journal published by ASA, CSSA, and SSSA. The JEQ editorial board consists of the editor, editors-in-chief of ASA, CSSA, and SSSA, technical editors, associate editors, director of publications, managing editor, and chief executive officer.

The Environmental Claims Journal is a quarterly journal that focuses on the many types of claims and liabilities that result from environmental exposures. The ECJ considers environmental claims under older business insurance policies, coverage and claims under more recent environmental insurance policies, as well as toxic tort claims. Exposures and claims from all environmental media are considered: air, drinking water, groundwater, soil, chemicals in commerce and naturally occurring chemicals. The journal also considers the laws, regulations, and case law that form the basis for claims.
