NAN NÜ, NOW ALSO INCLUDING TWENTIETH CENTURY CHINA, is an interdisciplinary, international, peer-reviewed journal featuring original studies related to men, women, and gender in the fields of Chinese history, literature, linguistics and language, anthropology, archeology, art and music, law, philosophy, medicine/science, and religion. The journal discusses the subject to China today.

NASSP Bulletin (BUL) publishes scholarly and research-based knowledge that informs practice, supports data-driven decisions, and advances the performance of middle and high school principals. NORA is an interdisciplinary journal of gender and women's studies and a conduit for high-quality research from, and across, all disciplines. Rooted in the politics of its Nordic location, the journal recognizes and conveys in particular the situatedness of Nordic feminist research. NORA puts emphasis on the various Nordic positions of feminist research, but simultaneously for its transnational entanglements. In effect, the journal partakes in larger intranational conversations on gender and other intersecting categories of analysis. NORA is thus a forum for transversal conversations, creative and critical feminist thought, and comparative perspectives. Acknowledging the need to speak across borders, NORA challenges academic and disciplinary, linguistic and national limits and boundaries. Situated in the Nordic context and international in scope, the editors welcome contributions from all countries, and from across the full kaleidoscopic range of feminist political, empirical and theoretical standpoints. NORA especially promotes: * Nordic differences: debate among Nordic and non-Nordic feminist researchers on the situated, linked and diverse nature of Nordic feminisms in changing political, historical and cultural contexts. * Intra- and intersectionality studies: creative and critical feminist dialogues and methodological advances across multiple axes of differentiation and signification, such as religion, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, cultural capital, age, mother tongue, dis/ability, to mention only a few. * Engagements with 'the ontological turn' of feminist thought: human and non-human embodiment, posthumanities, biopolitics, animal studies and material feminisms, the environment and the natural sciences. * Power in practice: changing power relations and subjectivities - debates on equality, policy directives and regulations in state and organisation, research politics and social change, gouvernmentality. NORA welcomes submissions that partake in, or reflect, Nordic discussions and research interests within the interdisciplinary field of feminist and gender research. Empirical and thematic, theoretical or more conceptual articles are all welcomed, as are open letters, position papers, book reviews and review articles which set several recent books within the context of past or ongoing debates. Submitted manuscripts must be written in an academic English of international standard in order to be considered for review. British spelling is to be used except in the case of words where 'z' has generally replaced the 's', as in the case of 'organize'. The preferred length of a scientific article is 7-8000 words including notes and references. All articles submitted should be accompanied by an abstract of 150-200 words, and up to 5 key words. For the double blind peer review process to work, the name, or names, of the author(s), must only appear on a separate title page. The separate title page should also include a short biography of the author(s) and indicate the name of the corresponding author for the submitted manuscript.

Rationale Nanoscale technologies are currently surrounded by both hype and fear. Optimists suggest that these technologies are desperately needed to solve problems of terrorism, global warming, the shortage of clean water, land degradation and health. Pessimists fear the loss of privacy and loss of autonomy, 'grey goo' and weapons of mass destruction, and serious environmental and health risks. There is also concern about the fair distribution of the costs and benefits of the technology. The field needs a forum for informed discussion of ethical and social issues related to nanotechnology to counterbalance popular discussions and fragmented representation of opinions and findings. NanoEthics: Ethics for Technologies that Converge at the Nanoscale provides this forum. Nature of the journal This journal will be a multidisciplinary forum for exploration of issues presented by converging technology applications. While the central focus of the journal will be on the ethical issues, it is recognized that these discussions must be informed by, at least, the physical, biological and social sciences and the law. Focus NanoEthics: Ethics for Technologies that Converge at the Nanoscale will focus on the philosophically and scientifically rigorous examination of the ethical and societal considerations and the public and policy concerns inherent in nanotechnology research and development. These issues include both individual and societal problems, and include individual health, wellbeing and human enhancement, human integrity and autonomy, distribution of the costs and benefits, threats to culture and tradition and to political and economic stability. Additionally there are meta-issues including the neutrality or otherwise of technology, designing technology in a value-sensitive way, and the control of scientific research. Re, adership and Editorial Board This journal will be of interest to researchers, scholars and students in the various disciplines related to nanotechnology, and to scientific and technological policymakers. The composition of the editorial board reflects the multidisciplinary approach of the journal.

• Human Nanotoxicology - nano-bio interactions and effects on human health;
• Econanotoxicology - nano-bio interactions and effects on organism and ecosystem health;
• Exposure - nanomaterial release, fate and behavior in the environment and human/engineered systems;
• Risk Assessment and Life Cycle Assessment

Other areas, such as the development of methodological and modelling approaches and the development of materials and methods to enhance nanosafety, are appropriate if there is a clear and demonstrable link to the above themes.

Types of article NanoImpact publishes the following article types:

• Original Research Articles: Demonstrate important new discoveries in the relevant fields;
• Critical Reviews: Comprehensively summarize and evaluate the latest developments in the relevant field;
• Frontiers: Identify potential new important areas in the relevant field.

Original Research Articles and Critical Reviews are limited to 7000 and 10000 words excluding figures, tables and references. A maximum of 6 figures/tables are allowed for research and review articles. Frontiers are limited to 2000 words, with up to an additional 3 figures and tables allowed. References are not included in this word limit. Longer articles can be considered if authors can provide a compelling argument in the cover letter. Editors will make the final decision.
