The aim of MELG is to provide a peer-reviewed venue for academic analysis in which the legal lens allows scholars and practitioners to address issues of compelling concern to the Middle East. The journal is multi-disciplinary – offering contributors from a wide range of backgrounds an opportunity to discuss issues of governance, jurisprudence, and socio-political organization, thereby promoting a common conceptual framework and vocabulary for exchanging ideas across boundaries – geographic and otherwise. It is also broad in scope, discussing issues of critical importance to the Middle East without treating the region as a self-contained unit. Through this approach, MELG hopes to contribute to shared understandings between peoples, and enhanced discourse on institutional and human development at the local and global levels.

Since its launch in 1964 Middle Eastern Studies has become required reading for all those with a serious concern in understanding the modern Middle East. Migration Studies is an international refereed, online only journal dedicated to advancing scholarly understanding of the determinants, processes and outcomes of human migration in all its manifestations. It furthers this aim by publishing original scholarship from around the world. 

Migration shapes human society and inspires ground-breaking research efforts across many different academic disciplines and policy areas. Migration Studies contributes to the consolidation of this field of scholarship, developing the core concepts that link different disciplinary perspectives on migration. To this end, the journal welcomes full-length articles, research notes, and reviews of books, films and other media from those working across the social sciences in all parts of the world. Priority is given to methodological, comparative and theoretical advances. The journal also publishes occasional special issues.

Content: Military Psychology is the quarterly journal of Division 19 (Society for Military Psychology) of the American Psychological Association. The journal seeks to facilitate the scientific development of military psychology by encouraging communication between researchers and practitioners. The domain of military psychology is the conduct of research or practice of psychological principles within a military environment. The journal publishes behavioral science research articles having military applications in the areas of clinical and health psychology, training and human factors, manpower and personnel, social and organizational systems, and testing and measurement. Topics of major concern to military psychology will be covered in special journal issues. Military Psychology is international in scope, and the editors encourage submission of articles that address research being carried out in a variety of national settings. Contributions will be considered for publication in the following categories: Research Articles: Reports of empirical research. Notes: Brief articles describing work that is largely confirmatory, advances in knowledge arising as by-products of broader studies, or new research techniques and methodologies. Reviews: Scholarly integrations of individual areas of empirical research. Communications: Information on policies and trends that affect the support and direction of research in military psychology. Clinical Practice: Case studies, theoretical articles, program development evaluations, and research articles of direct application for military psychologists in clinical settings. Comments and Letters to the Editor will be published on a space-available basis. Peer Review Policy: Once a manuscript is processed it is assigned a manuscript control number and given to an Action Editor (one of the Associate Editors) for editorial oversight. The Action Editor will oversee the review process, obtain review from two subject matter experts, compile reviewer comments and prepare an editorial recommendation for the manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief processes the editorial recommendation, makes a final decision and communicates with the author(s). Millennium: Journal of International Studies aims to publish the most innovative peer-reviewed articles from the discipline of international studies, as well as original thinking from elsewhere in the social sciences with an international dimension. Interdisciplinary and wide-ranging in scope, the journal provides a forum for discussion on the latest developments in the theory of international relations, welcoming innovative and critical approaches.

The phenomena of mind and language are currently studied by researchers in linguistics, philosophy, psychology, artificial intelligence, and cognitive anthropology. Mind & Language brings this work together in a genuinely interdisciplinary way. Along with original articles, the journal publishes forums, survey articles and reviews, enabling researchers to keep up-to-date with developments in related disciplines as well as their own. It is an important forum for sharing the results of investigation and for creating the conditions for a fusion of effort, thus making real progress towards a deeper and more far-reaching understanding of the phenomena of mind and language.

Mind & Society is a high-quality biannual academic journal that examines the relationships between mental and socio-economic phenomena. It is the official journal of the Italian-based Rosselli Foundation. Priority is given to papers that explore the relationships between mind and action and between action and socio-economic phenomena. This includes the following topics: the concept of mind of social actor: cognitive models of reasoning: decision-making and action: computational and neural models of socio-economic phenomena: and related topics. The international journal takes an interdisciplinary approach and publishes papers from many academic disciplines. These include: philosophy and methodology of social sciences, economics, decision-making, sociology, cognitive and social psychology, epistemology, cognitive anthropology, artificial intelligence, neural modelling, and political science. Papers in the journal must share the journal’s epistemological vision – namely, the explanation of socio-economic phenomena through individual action, decision-making and reasoning processes – or at least refer to its content priorities. Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) publishes peer-reviewed articles concerned with brain and behavioral issues relevant to the broad field of education. Edited by an editorial board internationally recognized scholars and practitioners from the variety of disciplines represented in the field of mind, brain and education. MBE provides a forum for the accessible presentation of basic and applied research on learning and development, including analyses from biology, cognitive science, and education.

Mind, Culture, and Activity (MCA) is an interdisciplinary, international journal devoted to the study of the human mind in its cultural and historical contexts. Articles appearing in MCA draw upon research and theory in a variety of disciplines, including anthropology, cognitive science, education, linguistics, psychology, and sociology. Particular emphasis is placed upon research that seeks to resolve methodological problems associated with the analysis of human action in everyday activities and theoretical approaches that place culture and activity at the center of attempts to understand human nature.MCA is organized into four distinct sections; the relative weights of each will change somewhat from issue to issue. Section 1 features articles of general theoretical or empirical importance that go through a regular peer review process. Section 2 includes symposia that are built around a central article or book addressing important theoretical themes. Commentaries are invited from scholars from different intellectual traditions and cultural contexts. Section 3 contains informal communications or renderings in alternative genres, such as work-in-progress reports, summaries of e-mail discussions, poetry, and more. Mindfulness seeks to advance research, clinical practice, and theory on mindfulness. It is interested in manuscripts from diverse viewpoints, including psychology, psychiatry, medicine, neurobiology, psychoneuroendocrinology, cognitive, behavioral, cultural, philosophy, spirituality, and wisdom traditions. Mindfulness encourages research submissions on the reliability and validity of assessment of mindfulness: clinical uses of mindfulness in psychological distress, psychiatric disorders, and medical conditions: alleviation of personal and societal suffering: the nature and foundations of mindfulness: mechanisms of action: and the use of mindfulness across cultures. The Journal also seeks to promote the use of mindfulness by publishing scholarly papers on the training of clinicians, institutional staff, teachers, parents, and industry personnel in mindful provision of services.
