Since 1977, the Journal of Pragmatics has addressed a number of questions that are essential to our understanding of how language works in communicative and social interaction, and continues to welcome innovative pragmatic scholarship from all perspectives. Through engagement with a wide scope of research in pragmatics, JoP provides a forum for studies that approach relevant issues in general linguistics, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, conversation analysis, cognitive linguistics, corpus linguistics, and other areas of linguistic research with a distinctly pragmatic agenda.The Journal of Pragmatics also encourages work that explores the relationship between linguistic pragmatics and neighboring disciplines such as communication science (including the study of nonverbal communication), developmental and experimental psychology, the philosophy of language, and speech-language pathology (including the study of all developmental and acquired communication disorders). JoP welcomes both contributions originating in linguistics, and those taking neighboring, related fields as their point of departure.We also welcome the opportunity to publish high quality special issues, enabling the journal to make a significant contribution to a topical or developing area.

The  Journal of Private International Law ( J. Priv. Int. L.) was launched in spring 2005. We invite papers for this scholarly, peer-reviewed publication of original articles and analysis of current developments in the field. The journal covers all aspects of private international law, reflecting the role of the European Union and the Hague Conference on Private International Law in the making of private international law, in addition to the traditional role of domestic legal orders.

We welcome articles from scholars anywhere in the world writing in English about developments in any jurisdiction on any aspect of private international law. We also welcome shorter articles or analysis from anywhere in the world, including analysis of new treaties and conventions, and lengthy review articles dealing with significant new publications.

The Journal of Productivity Analysis publishes theoretical and applied research addressing the measurement, analysis, and improvement of productivity. The journal’s empirical research papers apply theory and techniques to the measurement of productivity and set forth implications for managerial strategies and public policy to enhance productivity.The journal’s broad scope spans economics, management sciences, operations research, and business and public administration. A partial list of topics includes productivity theory, organizational design, index number theory, and related foundations of productivity analysis. The Journal of Property Research is an international journal. The title reflects the expansion of research, particularly applied research, into property investment and development. The Journal of Property Research publishes papers in any area of real estate investment and development. These may be theoretical, empirical, case studies or critical literature surveys. There are two major areas of focus: 1. Property investment and finance. This covers topics such as the characteristics of property as an investment class, forecasting of markets and property portfolio construction. Much of this research will be an application to property of techniques developed in other investment markets. 2. Land development. This covers a wide range of issues surrounding the development and redevelopment of property. The focus may be financial, economic or environmental; urban or rural; public or private sector. The Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment (JPA) provides psychologists with current information about psychological and educational assessment practices and instrumentation. The Journal of Psycholinguistic Research covers a broad range of approaches to the study of the communicative process, including: the social and anthropological bases of communication; development of speech and language; semantics (problems in linguistic meaning); and biological foundations. It also examines the psychopathology of language and cognition as well as the neuropsychology of language and cognition. The journal publishes carefully selected papers from the several disciplines engaged in psycholinguistic research, providing a single, recognized medium for communications among linguists, psychologists, biologists, sociologists, and others.

The Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory serves as a bridge between public administration and public management scholarship on the one hand and public policy studies on the other.
