Global Media and Communication is an international, peer-reviewed journal that provides a platform for research and debate on the continuously changing global media and communication environement. Its scope includes communication and media studies, anthropology, sociology, telecommunications, public policy, migration and diasporic studies, transnational security and international relations.

Global Networks is a path-breaking journal devoted to the social scientific understanding of globalization and transnationalism. In the twenty-first century emerging transnational actors will play an ever more important role in both global and local affairs. They represent the human face of globalization. Such actors enter into the spaces opened up by the intersection of corporate capital, labour mobility and the new information, communication and transportation technologies. A feature of globe-spanning interactions of all kinds is the building and sustaining of social, economic, political and cultural networks.

Global Responsibility to Protect is the premier journal for the study and practice of the responsibility to protect (R2P). This journal seeks to publish the best and latest research on the R2P principle, its development as a new norm in global politics, its operationalization through the work of governments, international and regional organizations and NGOs, and finally, its relationship and applicability to past and present cases of genocide and mass atrocities including the global response to those cases. Global Responsibility to Protect also serves as a repository for lessons learned and analysis of best practices; it will disseminate information about the current status of R2P and efforts to realize its promise. Each issue contains research articles and at least one piece on the practicalities of R2P, be that the current state of R2P diplomacy or its application in the field.

Global Smart Food Systems is multidisciplinary open access journal committed towards publishing original theoretical, conceptual, applied, empirical and fundamental contributions both qualitative and quantitative particulalry relating to power dynamics.

Global Social Policy is a fully peer-reviewed journal that advances the understanding of the transnational dimensions of social policy, social development, and social governance. The Journal publishes scholarly, policy-oriented articles that focus on aspects of social policy and social governance broadly defined in both contemporary and historical contexts.

This journal brings together research that informs the fields of global social work, social development, and social welfare policy and practice. It serves as an outlet for manuscripts and brief reports of interdisciplinary applied research which advance knowledge about global threats to the well-being of individuals, groups, families and communities. This research spans the full range of problems including global poverty, food and housing insecurity, economic development, environmental safety, social determinants of health, maternal and child health, mental health, addiction, disease and illness, gender and income inequality, human rights and social justice, access to health care and social resources, strengthening care and service delivery, trauma, crises, and responses to natural disasters, war, violence, population movements and trafficking, war and refugees, immigration/migration, human trafficking, orphans and vulnerable children.  Research that recognizes the significant link between individuals, families and communities and their external environments, as well as the interrelatedness of race, cultural, context and poverty, will be particularly welcome.

Global Society covers the new agenda in global and international relations and encourages innovative approaches to the study of global and international issues from a range of disciplines. It promotes the analysis of transactions at multiple levels, and in particular, the way in which these transactions blur the distinction between the sub-national, national, transnational, international and global levels. An ever integrating global society raises a number of issues for global and international relations which do not fit comfortably within established 8216;Paradigms'. Among these are the international and global consequences of nationalism and struggles for identity, migration, racism, religious fundamentalism, terrorism and criminal activities, famines, genocides, the spread of contagious disease and pestilence, and environmental degradation. Globalisation, Societies and Education aims to fill the gap between the study of education and broader social, economic and political forces by analysing the complexities of globalisation. The journal seeks to provide means for affecting, as well as reflecting the experiences, distribution, contributions and outcomes of education at all levels and in all settings.Globalisation, Societies and Education represents scholarly analysis carried out from a variety of disciplinary perspectives, including sociology, philosophy, politics, geography, history, economics, management and comparative studies as applied to education and its related fields.
