The primary aims of the Journal are to provide a means of communicating the advances being made in the areas of biomechanics and biomedical engineering and to stimulate interest in the continually emerging computer based technologies which are being applied in these multidisciplinary subjects. The Journal will also provide a focus for the importance of integrating the disciplines of engineering with medical technology and clinical expertise. Such integration will have a major impact on health care in the future. High quality research articles form the main body of the Journal. These contributed papers will cover both the engineering and clinical aspects of computer methods in biomedical engineering. Topics covered include the mechanical response of bone and bone/tissue/implant analysis, tissue mechanics, mechanobiology, modelling of biomaterials, material identification, human body impact, motion analysis, kinesiology, mechanotransduction, computer assisted surgery, surgical simulation, computer animation, computational and systems biology and medical imaging. Dental mechanics, biofluids, cardiovascular mechanics, soft-tissue modelling and joint/ligament mechanics are also topics of primary importance. As well as providing a forum where advances in these complex areas can be published and discussed in open academic debate, the Journal also contains special issues and feature articles, techical notes and reviews, and short communications.

Computers & Chemical Engineering is primarily a journal of record for new developments in the application of computing and systems technology to chemical engineering problems. Corrosion Engineering, Science and Technology (CEST) provides broad international coverage of research and practice in corrosion processes and corrosion control. Peer-reviewed contributions address all aspects of corrosion engineering and corrosion science; there is strong emphasis on effective design and materials selection to combat corrosion and the journal carries failure case studies to further knowledge in these areas. The scope encompasses all metallic and non-metallic materials and composites.

Corrosion Reviews is an international bimonthly journal devoted to critical reviews that are key to advancing the understanding and application of corrosion science and engineering in the service of society. Papers may be of a theoretical, experimental or practical nature, provided that they make a significant contribution to knowledge in the field. Cutting-edge topics such as corrosion of materials in energy systems, corrosion of nanomaterials, corrosion of biomaterials and medical devices, the effect of corrosion on water pollution and the environment, smart coatings, etc. are more than welcome.All articles are published in English and are peer-reviewed. Reviews may be invited either by the Editors-in-Chief or by members of the Editorial Board, which consists of leaders in the international corrosion community. CrystEngComm is the forum for the design and understanding of crystalline materials. It publishes studies on the investigation of molecular behaviour within crystals, control of nucleation and crystal growth, engineering of crystal structures, and construction of crystalline materials with tuneable properties and functions. All papers should involve the use or development of a design or optimisation strategy.

Crystals (ISSN 2073-4352) is an open access journal that covers all aspects of crystalline material research. Crystals can act as a reference, and as a publication resource, to the community. It publishes reviews, regular research articles, and short communications. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, there is no restriction on article length. Full experimental details must be provided to enable the results to be reproduced.
