Science & Technology Libraries is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal covering all aspects of our profession as librarians serving science, engineering, clinical investigation, and agriculture. It best serves this purpose by publishing the refereed papers of some of our most successful colleagues working at some of the most distinguished institutions around the world, as well as the vetted manuscripts of those new professionals whose insights demonstrate that their careers among us are on the ascendant. Scientometrics is concerned with the quantitative features and characteristics of science and scientific research. Emphasis is placed on investigations in which the development and mechanism of science are studied by statistical mathematical methods. The journal publishes original studies, short communications, preliminary reports, review papers, letters to the editor and book reviews on scientometrics. Due to its fully interdisciplinary character, the journal is indispensable to research workers and research administrators . It provides valuable assistance to librarians and documentalists in central scientific agencies, ministries, research institutes and laboratories. Scientometrics includes the Journal of Research Communication Studies. Consequently its aims and scope cover that of the latter, namely, to bring the results of such investigations together in one place.

Serials Review, issued quarterly, is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal for the international serials community. Articles focus on serials in the broadest sense of the term and cover all aspects of serials information; regular columns feature interviews, exchanges on controversial topics, book reviews, and conference reports. The journal encompasses practical, theoretical, and visionary ideas for librarians, publishers, vendors, and anyone interested in the changing nature of serials. Serials Review covers all aspects of serials management: format considerations, publishing models, statistical studies, collection analysis, collaborative efforts, reference and access issues, cataloging and acquisitions, people who have shaped the serials community, and topical bibliographic studies. Slavic & East European Information Resources (SEEIR) serves as a focal point for the international exchange of information in the field of Slavic* librarianship. Affiliated with the Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES), this English-language journal features original research, new developments in the field, regular columns and reviews of relevant material. Subjects covered include acquisitions, cataloging and metadata, collection development and management, digitization, information literacy instruction, preservation, and reference; as well as works on individual Slavic collections, Slavic book studies, as well as anything that touches on the practice of Slavic librarianship in North America, in the countries covered, and elsewhere in the world. Social Science Information (SSI) is a major international forum for the analysis and debate of trends and approaches in social science research and teaching. Publishing articles in both English and French. Social Science Information presents research from a broad range of perspectives, including: anthropology; sociology; psychology; philosophy; political science; economics.

Technical Services Quarterly is dedicated to providing a forum for the presentation of current developments and future trends concerning the technical operations of libraries and information centers. The journal aims to keep its readers informed of current developments and future trends in research, developments, and practical implementation of systems and applications of traditional and non-traditional technical services and the public operations they influence and sustain. The journal accepts original research, theoretical, and implementation articles pertaining to technical services, automation, networking, document delivery, information technology, library instruction and information literacy, reference and bibliography, case studies, cost analysis, staffing, space, organizational behavior and leadership, and collection development and management. Each issue also includes the following columns:"Technical Services Report," edited by Barry B. Terminology is an independent journal with a cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary scope. It focusses on the discussion of (systematic) solutions not only of language problems encountered in translation, but also, for example, of (monolingual) problems of ambiguity, reference and developments in multidisciplinary communication. Particular attention will be given to new and developing subject areas such as knowledge representation and transfer, information technology tools, expert systems and terminological databases. Terminology encompasses terminology both in general (theory and practice) and in specialized fields (LSP), such as physics; biomedical sciences; technology; engineering; humanities; management; law; arts; business administration; trade; corporate identity; economics; methodology; and any other area in which terminology is essential to improve communication.

The Bottom Line explores managerial and economic aspects of information and how value is derived from it, focusing on theoretical and practical aspects.

The Electronic Library explores information organization for knowledge creation, discovery, access, and sharing.

For more than twenty years, the International Information and Library Review has been welcomed by information scientists, librarians and other scholars and practitioners all over the world for its timely articles on research and development in international and comparative librarianship, information sciences, information policy and information ethics, digital values and digital libraries. Contributions to the journal have come from staff or members of many different international organizations, including the United Nations, UNESCO, IFLA, and INTAMEL, and from library and information scientists in academia, government, industry, and other organizations.The peer-reviewed journal focuses on three broad areas:Policy and ethical issues, including digital values, around the world.The ways in which information technologies and policies are used to help in decision-making, problem solving and improving the quality of people's lives. The Library is the journal of the Bibliographical Society. For more than a hundred years it has been the pre-eminent scholarly journal for the history of books, both manuscript and printed, and the role of books in history. All aspects of descriptive and historical bibliography come within its scope, including the general and economic history of the production and distribution of books, paper, printing types, illustration, and binding, as well as the transmission of texts and their authenticity. Each issue of The Library normally contains 100-115 pages, illustrated where necessary. Also included in each issue are reviews and lists of recent books and periodicals in the field. A comprehensive index is issued annually.

The Library Quarterly (LQ) is an international journal dedicated to scholarship about libraries as organizations that connect their communities to information. The journal publishes research that explores the changing roles of libraries as they pertain to the growing influence of information in policymaking, equity, access, inclusion, human rights, and other societal issues. From its inception in 1931, LQ has featured reports of research, evaluative essays, and thoughtful reviews of resources from library and information science and other fields. The journal embraces a wide array of original research perspectives, approaches, and types of analysis, making it the journal best positioned to chronicle the evolution of libraries and the related intersections of information, community, and policy.
