Applied Geochemistry is an international journal devoted to publication of original research papers, rapid research communications and selected review papers in geochemistry and urban geochemistry which have some practical application to an aspect of human endeavour, such as the preservation of the environment, health, waste disposal and the search for resources. Papers on applications of inorganic, organic and isotope geochemistry and geochemical processes are therefore welcome provided they meet the main criterion. Spatial and temporal monitoring case studies are only of interest to our international readership if they present new ideas of broad application.Topics covered include: (1) Environmental geochemistry (including natural and anthropogenic aspects, and protection and remediation strategies); (2) Hydrogeochemistry (surface and groundwater); (3) Medical (urban) geochemistry; (4) The search for energy resources (in particular unconventional oil and gas or emerging metal resources); (5) Energy exploitation (in particular geothermal energy and CCS); (6) Upgrading of energy and mineral resources where there is a direct geochemical application; and (7) Waste disposal, including nuclear waste disposal.More information about the International Association of GeoChemistry can be found at the society website: http://www.iagc-society.org

Applied Geomatics (AG) is the official journal of SIFET the Italian Society of Photogrammetry and Topography and covers all aspects and information on scientific and technical advances in the geomatic sciences. The Journal publishes innovative contributions in geomatics applications ranging from the integration of instruments, methodologies and technologies and their use in the environmental sciences, engineering and other natural sciences. The areas of interest include many research fields such as: remote sensing, close range and videometric photogrammetry, image analysis, digital mapping, land and geographic information systems, geographic information science, integrated geodesy, spatial data analysis, heritage recording: network adjustment and numerical processes. Furthermore, Applied Geomatics is open to articles from all areas of deformation measurements and analysis, structural engineering, mechanical engineering and all trends in earth and planetary survey science and space technology. The Journal also contains notices of conferences and international workshops, industry news, and information on new products. It provides a useful forum for professional and academic scientists involved in geomatic science and technology.

Applied Geophysics was started in 2004 by the Chinese Geophysical Society, and today is a unique, comprehensive English language periodical, distributed in China and abroad. Applied Geophysics creates an academic realm for scientific researchers, engineers, and professors in geophysics, where they can publish and exchange their experiences in scientific research, production results, and production management, aiming to reflect and represent achievements in the Chinese applied geophysics sector, and also to publish the research and practices of geophysicists from around the world. Applied and Environmental Soil Science is a peer-reviewed open access journal in the field of soil science aimed at an international audience. Its coverage reflects the multidisciplinarity nature of soil science, and focuses on studies that take account of the dynamics and spatial heterogeneity of processes in soil. Basic studies of the physical, chemical, biochemical, and biological properties of soil, innovations in soil analysis, and the development of statistical tools will be published. Most papers will have a strong applied element. Papers will include experimental and field investigations, mathematical modelling, and occasional review articles.

Aquatic Biology (AB) serves as a worldwide forum for research on all aspects of the biology of organisms living in marine, brackish or fresh waters. It complements the material that appears in Marine Ecology Progress Series (MEPS) and Aquatic Microbial Ecology (AME). Multidisciplinary and international, AB will be developed and tailored to reflect the evolving needs of the scientific community it serves.

Aquatic Geochemistry provides a medium for the publication of original studies broadly relating to the geochemistry of natural waters and their interactions with rocks and minerals under relatively near Earth-surface conditions. Coverage includes theoretical, experimental, and modeling papers dealing with this subject area, as well as papers presenting observations of natural systems that stress major processes. The journal also presents `letter'-type papers for rapid publication and a limited number of review-type papers on topics of particularly broad interest or current major controversy.

Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research is a quarterly international journal. It publishes original research papers, shorter contributions, resulting correspondence, and book reviews. The subject matter deals with any scientific or cultural aspect of Arctic, Antarctic, and alpine environments and related topics on subarctic, subantarctic, subalpine environments, and paleoenvironments. Papers may be uni- or multidisciplinary but should have interdisciplinary appeal. Special thematic issues and proceedings are published from time to time.

The Asia-Pacific Journal of Atmospheric Sciences (APJAS) is an international journal of the Korean Meteorological Society (KMS), published fully in English. It has started from 2008 by succeeding the KMS' former journal, the Journal of the Korean Meteorological Society (JKMS), which published total of 43 volumes and 129 issues in its time-honored tradition. We are looking for overviews of cutting-edge research that enable astronomers and geophysicists to keep up with developments in different fields. We also seek short news items, topical and relevant to the interests of professional astronomers and geophysicists, letters on matters of interest to the community, and brief reports from meetings.
