Journal Guide

Each issue of Interface Focus is devoted to a specific topic at the interface of the physical and life sciences. This area will define a research frontier that is advancing rapidly and will, by its very nature, bridge traditional disciplines. The journal is essential reading for scientists working across the physical / life sciences divide. Topics covered by the journal include, but are not limited to: biocomplexity, biocomputation, bioengineering, bioinformatics, biomaterials, biomechanics, bionanoscience, biophysics, chemical biology, medical physics, synthetic biology, systems biology, theoretical biology, tissue engineering.

IJBT provides an international forum and refereed authoritative source of information in the field of Biotechnology and Biotechnics, with emphasis on management and economics, as well as the political and social issues. It aims to disseminate knowledge, provide a learned reference in the field, and establish channels of communication between academic and research experts, policy makers and executives in industry, commerce and investment institutions.

This inter-disciplinary, internationally-reviewed research journal covers all aspects of nanometer scale science and technology. Articles in any contemporary topical areas are sought, from basic science of nanoscale physics and chemistry to applications in nanodevices, quantum engineering and quantum computing. IJN will include articles in the following research areas (and other related areas):

Journal of Applied Microbiology publishes high quality research and review papers on novel aspects of applied microbiology, including environmental, food, agricultural, medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, soil, systematics, water and biodeterioration. The Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering is a research journal publishing original full-length research papers, short research papers (notes), reviews, and Letters to the Editor. The Journal is devoted to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge concerning fermentation technology, biochemical engineering, food technology and microbiology.

The Journal provides a medium for the rapid publication of both full-length articles and short communications on novel and innovative aspects of biotechnology. The Journal will accept papers ranging from genetic or molecular biological positions to those covering biochemical, chemical or bioprocess engineering aspects as well as computer application of new software concepts, provided that in each case the material is directly relevant to biotechnological systems.
