Each issue of Interface Focus is devoted to a specific topic at the interface of the physical and life sciences. This area will define a research frontier that is advancing rapidly and will, by its very nature, bridge traditional disciplines. The journal is essential reading for scientists working across the physical / life sciences divide. Topics covered by the journal include, but are not limited to: biocomplexity, biocomputation, bioengineering, bioinformatics, biomaterials, biomechanics, bionanoscience, biophysics, chemical biology, medical physics, synthetic biology, systems biology, theoretical biology, tissue engineering.
IJBT provides an international forum and refereed authoritative source of information in the field of Biotechnology and Biotechnics, with emphasis on management and economics, as well as the political and social issues. It aims to disseminate knowledge, provide a learned reference in the field, and establish channels of communication between academic and research experts, policy makers and executives in industry, commerce and investment institutions.
This inter-disciplinary, internationally-reviewed research journal covers all aspects of nanometer scale science and technology. Articles in any contemporary topical areas are sought, from basic science of nanoscale physics and chemistry to applications in nanodevices, quantum engineering and quantum computing. IJN will include articles in the following research areas (and other related areas):
Journal of Applied Microbiology publishes high quality research and review papers on novel aspects of applied microbiology, including environmental, food, agricultural, medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, soil, systematics, water and biodeterioration. Papers reporting work on all microorganisms, including viruses, are welcomed providing they demonstrate new findings of significance to the field as a whole.
The Journal of Biomolecular Screening (JBS) is the leading peer-reviewed journal focusing on drug discovery sciences. JBS publishes information that enables researchers to evaluate current technologies and incorporate applications to enhance performance and objectives. Manuscripts and editorial commentary emphasize scientific and technical applications and advances in target identification/validation; lab automation and robotics; high-throughput screening (HTS); lead generation/optimization; virtual screening, chemoinformatics; diagnostic assays; assay development; assay technologies (novel applications, comparisons); data/image analysis, statistics and information technologies/methods; high content screening, imaging platforms; sample management (library design, compound logistics, chemical diversity); biological reagent production, characterization and management for drug discovery (cell lines, stem cells, surrogate tissues/species [xenopus, zebrafish, yeast]); genomic, proteomic screening; biomarkers; high throughput approaches to PK, ADME and predictive toxicology; legal, licensing issues. This publication will be of particular interest to those involved in analytical chemistry, applied microbiology, automation, biochemistry, bioengineering, biomedical optics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, cell biology, DNA science and technology, genetics, information technology, medicinal chemistry, molecular biology, natural products chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacology, spectroscopy, and toxicology.
The Journal of Bionic Engineering publishes original research papers and reviews on all aspects of bionic science and engineering including fundamental understandings of animals and plants for bionic engineering, such as locomotion and behaviors of animals, structures, composites, morphology and physical properties of plants and natural materials, applications of such understandings in engineering, technology and designs. The journal aims to promote research and provide a platform for communication of novel ideas, theories and technologies in bionic science and engineering.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. The Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering is a research journal publishing original full-length research papers, short research papers (notes), reviews, and Letters to the Editor. The Journal is devoted to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge concerning fermentation technology, biochemical engineering, food technology and microbiology.
The Journal provides a medium for the rapid publication of both full-length articles and short communications on novel and innovative aspects of biotechnology. The Journal will accept papers ranging from genetic or molecular biological positions to those covering biochemical, chemical or bioprocess engineering aspects as well as computer application of new software concepts, provided that in each case the material is directly relevant to biotechnological systems. Papers presenting information of a multidisciplinary nature that would not be suitable for publication in a journal devoted to a single discipline, are particularly welcome. The following areas are covered in the Journal:* Nucleic Acids/Molecular Biology* Physiology/Biochemistry* Biochemical Engineering/Bioprocess Engineering* Industrial Processes/New Products* Medical Biotechnology* Agro- and Food Biotechnology * Genomics and BioinformaticsMore information on these areas can be found hereBenefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more.
