Founded amid controversy in 1901, the South Atlantic Quarterly continues to cover the beat, center and fringe, with bold analyses of the current scene--national, cultural, intellectual--worldwide. Now published exclusively in special issues, this vanguard centenarian journal is tackling embattled states, evaluating postmodernity's influential writers and intellectuals, and examining a wide range of cultural phenomena.

The South Central Review is an interdisciplinary journal publishing a stimulating mix of scholarly articles, essays, interviews, and opinion pieces on literary criticism, film studies, philosophy and history, as well as current debates on important cultural and political topics. The South Central Review is the official journal of the South Central Modern Language Association.

The aim of the journal is to establish a line of communication with these regions of Europe. Previously isolated from the European mainstream, the Balkan and Black Sea regions are in need of serious comparative study as are the individual countries, no longer 'at the edge' of Europe.The principal disciplines covered by the journal are politics, political economy, international relations and modern history; other disciplinary approaches are accepted as appropriate. The journal will take both an academic and also a more practical policy-oriented approach and hopes to compensate for the serious information deficit on the countries under consideration. Space and Culture (SAC), peer-reviewed and published quarterly, brings together dynamic, critical interdisciplinary research at the interface of cultural geography, sociology, cultural studies, architectural theory, ethnography, communications, urban studies, environmental studies and discourse analysis. SAC features articles on novel topics that are not written about anywhere else, review articles on important topics, and book reviews, notably from international and small presses.

This multidisciplinary journal is based on the assumption that the critical issues pertaining to spatial cognition and computation lie at the intersection of a number of disciplines--in particular, cognitive psychology, computer science, geography, neuropsychology, and artificial intelligence. Recent years have seen a growth in the desire of these communities to share insights and results. The aim of the journal is to concentrate the presentation of research into spatial cognition and computation, and to explicitly foster an interdisciplinary dialogue. Spatial Cognition and Computation encourages the submission of articles on any topic in the area of spatial cognition and spatial computation. Speculum, published quarterly since 1926, was the first scholarly journal in North America devoted exclusively to the Middle Ages. It is open to contributions in all fields studying the Middle Ages, a period ranging from 500 to 1500. The journal’s primary emphasis is on Western Europe, but Arabic, Byzantine, Hebrew, and Slavic studies are also included. Articles may be submitted on any medieval topic; all disciplines, methodologies, and approaches are welcome, with articles on interdisciplinary topics especially encouraged. The language of publication is English.

The journal encourages the study of sport to illuminate broader historical issues and debates.
