Irish Geography has been published by the Geographical Society of Ireland since 1944. An early editorial decision was to concentrate on the geography of Ireland and this has been maintained ever since. International and peer-reviewed, Italian Journal of Zoology began life in 1930, when it was first published under the name of Il Bollettino di Zoologia. In 1996 the title was changed to the Italian Journal of Zoology, the name by which the publication is now known worldwide. The Italian Journal of Zoology covers all aspects of basic, comparative, and applied protozoan and animal biology at molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, organismal, population, and community-ecosystem levels. Papers covering multiple levels of organization are particularly welcome. Contributions on zootechnics, animal husbandry, and farming will not be considered as pertinent. Abstracts and Conference proceedings approved by the UZI Executive Committee are also featured in the journal on an ad-hoc basis. Manuscripts by members and non-members of the UZI should be submitted in English, and may be in the form of: (a) regular articles, (b) invited reviews, and (c) short commentaries of four printed pages at the maximum.
