The aim of this Journal is to be thoroughly international in nature. It disseminates high-quality research, theoretical advances, international developments to foster international understanding, and to spread ideas about initiatives in bilingualism and bilingual education.The Journal seeks:8226; To promote theoretical and applied research into bilingual education and bilingualism.8226; To provide a truly international exchange, and to encourage international debates and discussions on key issues in areas of controversy in bilingual education and bilingualism.8226; To disseminate internationally effective practice (e.g. in the development of bilingual children, bilingual education, bilingualism in the economy).8226; To provide interdisciplinary perspectives for an international audience. Refereeing proceduresEvery article within the remit of the Journal is sent to two or more reviewers. At least one reviewer will be a member of the Editorial Board. Reviewers' comments and recommendations will be sent to the contact author with a decision. This will normally be one of: Accept; Accept if there is a satisfactory completion of edits as indicated by the reviewers; Resubmission with a further review process; Rejection.

The International Journal of Bilingualism (IJB) is an international forum for the dissemination of original research on the linguistic, psychological, neurological, and social issues which emerge from language contact. While stressing interdisciplinary links, the focus of the Journal is on the language behavior of the bi- and multilingual individual.

IJBIC discusses the new bio-inspired computation methodologies derived from the animal and plant world, such as new algorithms mimicking the wolf schooling, the plant survival process, etc.

The International Journal of Biochemistry & Cell Biology publishes articles in all areas of contemporary cell and molecular biology and biomedical research. This includes cellular and biochemical mechanistic studies of cells, cell organelles, sub-cellular molecular pathways and metabolism.We welcome manuscripts that provide novel insights into basic cellular and molecular processes or disease pathogenesis, and encourage submission of manuscripts with relevance to bioinformatics, nanobiology, synthetic biology, or complexity science. We encourage inclusion of in vivo studies and integrated systems approaches to better understand the cellular and molecular basis of whole-organism physiological and pathological processes.The journal publishes original research papers, invited reviews, In Focus articles, and short communications. The International Journal of Biodiversity Science, Ecosystem Services & Management (IJBESM) aims to improve our understanding of the role of biodiversity in providing ecosystem services and the associated management systems needed to maintain biodiversity and use ecosystem services in a sustainable mannerIJBESM focuses on the interaction between biodiversity at all levels (ecosystems, species, genes) and papers published in the Journal should address at least one of the following themes:(a) the link between biodiversity and ecosystem services; i.e. what is the role of biodiversity in providing ecosystem services ? (b) the link between ecosystem services and management; i.e. how can ecosystem services be (sustainably) managed and what are the trade-offs in service provision, and values, between different management states ?(c) the link between biodiversity and management; i.e. what is the influence of management alternatives on biodiversity conservation ?Articles may address these topics from different perspectives, including basic research, integrated assessment approaches (participatory or model-oriented) or policy-oriented. They may be inter-disciplinary or draw from more specialized fields such as biology, (landscape) ecology, genetics, land use and conservation science, and socio-cultural or economic studies. Systems addressed may range from natural and semi-natural ecosystems to cultivated systems and urban areas.IJBESM accepts Original Research Papers, Research Letters and Review Articles.Preparation of manuscripts should be in accordance with the Instructions for Authors.

Bioinformatics is a new scientific discipline that combines biology, computer science, mathematics, and statistics into a broad-based field that will have profound impacts on all fields of biology. It is the comprehensive application of mathematics (e.g., probability and graph theory), statistics, science (e.g., biochemistry), and computer science (e.g., computer algorithms and machine learning) to the understanding of living systems. IJBRA addresses the most innovative developments, research issues and solutions in bioinformatics and computational biology and their applications.

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules is an established international journal of research into chemical and biological aspects of all natural macromolecules. It presents the latest findings of studies on the molecular structure of proteins, macromolecular carbohydrates, lignins, biological poly-acids, and nucleic acids. The scope further includes biological activities and interactions, molecular associations, chemical and biological modifications, and functional properties as well as development of related model systems, structural including conformational studies, new analytical techniques, and relevant theoretical developments. All papers are required to focus primarily on at least one named biological macromolecule.
