Addressing the wide-ranging topic areas of energy generation, conversion and storage, the Journal disseminates technical information – peer-reviewed scholarly work, Research Papers, Technical Briefs, and feature articles – of permanent interest to the Journal’s readership. Emphasis is given to extraction of energy from subsurface natural resource, petroleum engineering, natural gas technology, fuel/waste/underground combustion, underground storage/disposal with injection wells, alternative energy sources, power (co-) generation, and (geo) thermal energy storage and conversion systems. Authors present results from R&D studies, experience with new technologies, overview analyses, and computing algorithms.
Journal of Petroleum Geology is a quarterly journal devoted to the geology of oil and natural gas. Editorial preference is given to original papers on oilfield regions of the world outside North America and on topics of general application in petroleum exploration and development operations, including geochemical and geophysical studies, basin modelling and reservoir evaluation.
The objective of the Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering is to bridge the gap between the engineering, the geology and the science of petroleum and natural gas by publishing explicitly written articles intelligible to scientists and engineers working in any field of petroleum engineering, natural gas engineering and petroleum (natural gas) geology. An attempt is made in all issues to balance the subject matter and to appeal to a broad readership. The Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering covers the fields of petroleum (and natural gas) exploration, production and flow in its broadest possible sense. Topics include: origin and accumulation of petroleum (natural gas); petroleum (natural gas) geochemistry; reservoir engineering; rock mechanics/petrophysics; well logging, testing and evaluation; mathematical modelling; enhanced oil and gas recovery; petroleum (natural gas) geology; compaction/diagenesis; petroleum (natural gas) economics; drilling and drilling fluids; thermodynamics and phase behavior, fluid mechanics in porous media and multi-phase flow; reservoir simulation; production engineering; formation evaluation; exploration methods and C02 Sequestration in geological formations/sub-surface.Papers will be published with the minimum of publication delay. Research articles, case histories, field process reports, short communications, book reviews, symposia proceedings and review articles are accepted. Generally, review articles on some topic of special current interest will be published.
This Journal is devoted to the advancement of the science and technology of aerospace propulsion and power through the dissemination of original archival papers contributing to advancements in airbreathing, electric, and advanced propulsion; solid and liquid rockets; fuels and propellants; power generation and conversion for aerospace vehicles; and the application of aerospace science and technology to terrestrial energy devices and systems. It is intended to provide readers of the Journal, with primary interests in propulsion and power, access to papers spanning the range from research through development to applications. Papers in these disciplines and the sciences of combustion, fluid mechanics, and solid mechanics as directly related to propulsion and power are solicited.
The journal's coverage reflects changes in energy technology that result from the transition to more efficient energy production and end use together with reduced carbon emission.

Petroleum Science (a journal on petroleum science and technology in the English edition), sponsored by China University of Petroleum, enjoys the assistance of the Science & Technology Department of CNPC and three research institutes under the three major oil corporations, CNPC, Sinopec and CNOOC. Petroleum Science is the only English journal in China on petroleum science and technology that is intended for professionals engaged in petroleum science research and technical applications all over the world, as well as the managerial personnel of oil companies. It covers petroleum geology, petroleum geophysics, petroleum engineering, petrochemistry & chemical engineering, petroleum mechanics and economic management. It aims to introduce the latest results in oil industry research in China, promote cooperation in petroleum science research between China and the rest of the world, and build a bridge for scientific communication between China and the world.
The journal covers the character, properties, science, and processing aspectsof heavy oil, tar sand bitumen, and residua. Articles also address the environmental aspects of petroleum recovery, refining, and use. Petroleum Science and Technology also publishes selected proceedings from a conference or a collection of papers dealing with a single relevant topic. The journal is of particular interest to the analytical chemist, petroleum chemist, and the chemical and process engineer. Petroleum Science and Technology is changing its print and online frequency. Institutional subscribers will now receive 12 free online and 6 print issues while personal subscribers will continue to receive 6 print issues containing all of the monthly online articles. Publication office: Taylor & Francis, Inc., 325 Chestnut Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
