Chemical Papers is devoted to research in pure and applied chemistry and chemical engineering. At its founding in 1947, the journal presented the achievements of Slovak chemical science. Today, it is a peer-reviewed international journal published in English by the Institute of Chemistry of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, with the support of several other academic institutions. Its interdisciplinary coverage brings chemistry research together with related disciplines, including analytical chemistry; (bio)catalysis; biochemistry; chemical (bio)technology; (bio)chemical engineering; chemical physics; drug chemistry; food chemistry; environmental chemistry; inorganic chemistry; macromolecular chemistry; materials chemistry; mathematical chemistry; medical and pharmaceutical chemistry; nanochemistry; organic chemistry; physical chemistry and more.

Chem Soc Rev is the Royal Society of Chemistry's leading reviews journal. We publish high-impact, authoritative and reader-friendly review articles covering important topics at the forefront of the chemical sciences. Reviews should be of the very highest quality and international impact. Our scope covers the breadth of the chemical sciences, including interdisciplinary topics where the article has a basis in chemistry. The initiative to start with publication of a new journal Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Quarterly (CABEQ) as a part of European Alpe-Adria initiative for regional cooperation is described. Given are the main goals for the new journal published by Croatian Association of Chemical Engineers, formation of the international editorial board, and experiences gained during 15 years of publishing. Presented are statistical data on published papers, country of origin of authors, and classification of papers into chemical and biochemical engineering fields. The experiences gained during the last two years with publishing on Internet and planned activities in future are also presented. A view on validation of journals by ISI impact factor is discussed.

Chemical and Petroleum Engineering publishes the latest research on Russian innovations in the field. Articles discuss developments in machinery and equipment, construction and design, processes, materials and corrosion control, and equipment-manufacturing technology.

Chemical and Petroleum Engineering is a translation of the Russian journal Khimicheskoe i Neftegazovoe Mashinostroenie.
The Russian Volume Year is published in English from April. All articles are peer-reviewed.

Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems publishes original research papers, short communications, reviews, tutorials and software descriptions reporting on novel developments in techniques for chemistry and related disciplines that are characterised by the application of statistical and computer methods.Chemometrics is the chemical discipline that uses mathematical and statistical methods to design or select optimal procedures and experiments, and to provide maximum chemical information by analysing chemical data.The journal deals with the following topics:1) Development of new statistical, mathematical and chemometrical methods for Chemistry and related fields (Environmental Chemistry, Biochemistry, Toxicology, System Biology etc.)2) Novel applications of chemometrics to all branches of Chemistry and related fields (typical domains of interest are: process control, experimental design, data mining, signal processing, supervised modelling, decision making, robust statistics, mixture analysis, multivariate calibration etc.) Routine applications of established chemometrical techniques will not be considered.3) Development of new software4) Well characterized data sets to test performance for the new methods and software.The journal complies with International Committee of Medical Journal Editors' Uniform requirements for manuscripts.
