Journal of Solution Chemistry offers a forum for research on the physical chemistry of liquid solutions in such fields as physical chemistry, chemical physics, molecular biology, statistical mechanics, biochemistry, and biophysics. Metabolites (ISSN 2218-1989) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal of metabolism and metabolomics. Metabolites publishes original research articles and review articles in molecular aspects of metabolism relevant to the fields of metabolomics, metabolic biochemistry, computational and systems biology, biotechnology and medicine, with a particular focus on the biological roles of metabolites and small molecule biomarkers.

Recent advances in the now established disciplines of genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics, together with extensive cooperation between academic and industrial concerns, have brought about an integration of basic and applied microbiology as never before. Microbial Physiology aims to reflect this development by publishing original research papers from all areas of microbiology and biotechnology.
