FEBS Journal is an international Journal devoted to the rapid publication of full-length papers covering a wide range of topics in any area of the molecular life sciences. The criteria for acceptance are originality and high quality research, which will provide novel perspectives in a specific area of research, and will be of interest to our broad readership. The Journal does not accept papers that describe the expression of specific genes and proteins or test the effect of a drug or reagent, without presenting any biological significance. Papers describing bioinformatics, modelling or structural studies of specific systems or molecules should include experimental data. FEBS Journal publishes Reviews and Minireviews on a wide range of topics, which may be solicited or submitted. In addition, the Journal publishes Special Issues that cover in detail a chosen research topic in a specific scientific field. The scope of the journal is broad and inclusive. he Indian Journal of Medical Research (IJMR) [ISSN 0971-5916] is one of the oldest medical Journals not only in India, but probably in Asia, as it started in the year 1913. The Journal was started as a quarterly (4 issues/year) in 1913 and made bimonthly (6 issues/year) in 1958. It became monthly (12 issues/year) in the year 1964. The Journal is being indexed and abstracted by all major global current awareness and alerting services (Annexure). The IJMR is published monthly, in two volumes and 12 issues per year. The IJMR publishes peer reviewed quality biomedical research in the form of original research articles, review articles, short papers and short notes. Research letters are also published in the corresponding section after peer review. Supplements are published in addition to the regular issues Special issues. Criteria for consideration of papers - The papers should meet the following criteria – the material should be original, the methodology used should be standard and appropriate, results should be unambiguous supported with data/photographs, conclusions should be reasonable and based on the findings, the topic should be of biomedical interest and findings should have clinical significance. Papers involving human and animals should be ethically cleared by the local ethical committees. Manuscript Preparation - Manuscript should be prepared in accordance with the Guidelines set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) as uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals and should be submitted in triplicate (one original and 2 photocopies) with at least 2 sets of original Figures. Abstract should be structured (of about 250 words) under the subheadings Background & objectives, Methods, Results, and Interpretation & conclusions.All correspondence regarding submission of manuscripts, reprints, subscription etc., should be addressed to the.

Under what conditions does "development" end? Under what conditions does "aging" begin? Can these conditions themselves be modified by intervention at the psychological, social, or biological levels? To what extent are patterns of development and aging attributable to biological factors? To psychological factors? How can the social and behavioral sciences contribute to the actualization of human potential throughout the entire life span? What are the implications of gerontological research for our understanding of the total development of human organism?These are some of the broad questions with which the International Journal of Aging and Human Development is concerned. Emphasis is upon psychological and social studies of aging and the aged. However, the Journal also publishes research that introduces observations from other fields that illuminate the "human" side of gerontology, or utilizes gerontological observations to illuminate in other fields.

Ecology and Society is an electronic, peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal devoted to the rapid dissemination of current research. Manuscript submission, peer review, and publication are all handled on the Internet. Software developed for the journal automates all clerical steps during peer review, facilitates a double-blind peer review process, and allows authors and editors to follow the progress of peer review on the Internet. As articles are accepted, they are published in an "Issue in Progress." At six month intervals the Issue-in-Progress is declared a New Issue, and subscribers receive the Table of Contents of the issue via email. Our turn-around time (submission to publication) averages around 250 days.

The International Journal of Medical Robotics and Computer Assisted Surgery provides a cross-disciplinary platform for presenting the latest developments in robotics and computer assisted technologies for medical applications. The journal publishes cutting-edge papers and expert reviews, complemented by commentaries, correspondence and conference highlights that stimulate discussion and exchange of ideas. The Journal of Biochemistry founded in 1922 publishes the results of original research in the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell, and Biotechnology written in English in the form of Regular Papers or Rapid Communications. A Rapid Communication is not a preliminary note, but it is, though brief, a complete and final publication. The materials described in Rapid Communications should not be included in a later paper. The Journal also publishes short reviews (JB Review) and papers solicited by the Editorial Board.

The Journal of Gene Medicine publishes high quality original articles and reviews on the science of gene transfer and its applications in gene and cell therapy. Key areas of interest are the design and production of vectors, delivery and targeting, gene expression and regulation, preclinical studies including animal models, developmental aspects and clinical trials. The editors particularly welcome articles dealing with the methodological aspects of gene transfer in vivo, notably in the context of human studies. The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics, the official publication of the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP), co-published by the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP), seeks to publish high quality original papers on scientific advances in the translation and validation of molecular discoveries in medicine into the clinical diagnostic setting, and the description and application of technological advances in the field of molecular diagnostic medicine. The editors welcome for review articles that contain: novel discoveries or clinicopathologic correlations including studies in oncology, infectious diseases, inherited diseases, predisposition to disease, or the description or polymorphisms linked to disease states or normal variations; the application of diagnostic methodologies in clinical trials; or the development of new or improved molecular methods for diagnosis or monitoring of disease or disease predisposition.
