By emphasizing accessibility of content for scholars of all perspectives and approaches in the editorial and review process, Foreign Policy Analysis serves as a source for efforts at theoretical and methodological integration and deepening the conceptual debates throughout this rich and complex academic research tradition. Foreign policy analysis, as a field of study, is characterized by its actor-specific focus. The underlying, often implicit argument is that the source of international politics and change in international politics is human beings, acting individually or in groups. In the simplest terms, foreign policy analysis is the study of the process, effects, causes or outputs of foreign policy decision-making in either a comparative or case-specific manner.

Forestry publishes high quality articles and reviews on all aspects of research, practice and policy that promote the sustainable development of forests, woodlands and trees. In considering suitability for publication attention is given to both the originality of contributions and their practical application. Preference is usually given to work undertaken in the temperate and/or boreal zones; submissions from the tropics will be considered if they are relevant to the aim of the Journal.Special Issues - each year one edition of Forestry will be a Special Issue and will focus on one subject in detail; this will usually be by publication of the proceedings of an international meeting.This Prize is awarded annually to the author(s) of the best paper published in Forestry on the subject of silviculture, as defined below, during the preceding three years. It can also be awarded to an individual or team for a consistently high standard of papers over a period of five to ten years. In making the award preference is given to papers describing the results of original research in silviculture and to original contributions to the theory and practice of silviculture. For purposes of the award 'silviculture' is defined as the theory and practice of controlling the establishment, composition and growth of forests and shall include the relationship of tree growth to environmental and economic factors and the effects on tree growth of other plants, micro-organisms, insects, birds and other animals.

Since its foundation in 1965, Forum for Modern Language Studies has published articles on all aspects of literary and linguistic studies, from the Middle Ages to the present day. The journal sets out to reflect the essential pluralism of modern language and literature studies and to provide a forum for worldwide scholarly discussion. Each annual volume normally includes two thematic issues.

Function publishes original full research articles, but also short Focus articles that report an important new observation, based on solid evidence, but without the full exploration required for a full paper. All full research articles will be accompanied by a perspective article, written by an acknowledged expert in the field. A new type of Evidence Review article, quoting only original papers, will be commissioned from leading experts, but suggestions for such articles are welcome.
