Endocrine Reviews publishes bimonthly comprehensive, authoritative, and timely review articles balancing both experimental and clinical endocrinology themes and crystallizing the most significant clinical experience and current research in endocrinology and related areas such as cell biology, immunology, pharmacology, genetics, molecular biology, neuroscience, reproductive medicine, and pediatric endocrinology. In the 2009 Journal Citation Report, Endocrine Reviews has the highest Impact Factor ranking of the 105 journals in the category of Endocrinology and Metabolism: 19.761.

Endocrinology, the Society's oldest journal, has defined the science of endocrinology for most of the twentieth century. One of the most authoritative biomedical research journals in the world, it publishes 6,000 pages annually of the highest quality original work ranging from subcellular mechanisms to whole animal physiology. Topics include bone and mineral; growth factors; reproductive/steroids; neuroendocrinology/signal transduction; thyroid; and physiology. The low manuscript acceptance rate of 30% reflects the degree to which it is committed to the highest scientific standard. English is an internationally known journal of literary criticism, published on behalf of The English Association. Each issue contains essays on a wide range of authors and literary texts in English, aimed at readers within universities and colleges and presented in a lively and engaging style. There is a substantial review section, in which reviewers have space to situate a book within the context of recent developments in its field, and present a detailed argument. English is unusual among academic journals in publishing original poetry. This policy embodies the view that the critical and creative functions, often so widely separated in the teaching of English, can co-exist and cross-fertilise each other.

Environmental Entomology is published bimonthly in February, April, June, August, October, and December. The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) publishes two journals: Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (ET&C) and Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management (IEAM). Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry is dedicated to furthering scientific knowledge and disseminating information on environmental toxicology and chemistry, including the application of these sciences to risk assessment. Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management focuses on the application of science in environmental decision-making, regulation, and management, including aspects of policy and law, and the development of scientifically sound approaches to environmental problem solving. Together, these journals provide a forum for professionals in academia, business, government, and other segments of society involved in the use, protection, and management of the environment for the enhancement of ecological health and human welfare. Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry is interdisciplinary in scope and integrates the fields of environmental toxicology; environmental, analytical, and molecular chemistry; ecology; physiology; biochemistry; microbiology; genetics; genomics; environmental engineering; chemical, environmental, and biological modeling; epidemiology; and earth sciences. ET&C seeks to publish papers describing original experimental or theoretical work that significantly advances understanding in the area of environmental toxicology, environmental chemistry and hazard/risk assessment. Emphasis is given to papers that enhance capabilities for the prediction, measurement, and assessment of the fate and effects of chemicals in the environment, rather than simply providing additional data. The scientific impact of papers is judged in terms of the breadth and depth of the findings and the expected influence on existing or future scientific practice. Methodological papers must make clear not only how the work differs from existing practice, but the significance of these differences to the field. Site-based research or monitoring must have regional or global implications beyond the particular site, such as evaluating processes, mechanisms, or theory under a natural environmental setting. ET&C does not publish papers whose primary focus is on human health, occupational exposure, water and wastewater treatment, remediation technologies, environmental control processes, or pollution prevention. Papers with a heavy emphasis on environmental policy or regulation will be referred to IEAM. Epidemiologic Reviews is a leading review journal in public health. Published once a year, issues collect review articles on a particular subject. Founded in 1951, by F. W. Bateson, Essays in Criticism soon achieved world-wide circulation, and is today regarded as one of Britain's most distinguished journals of literary criticism. Essays in Criticism covers the whole field of English Literature from the time of Chaucer to the present day. The journal maintains that originality in interpretation must be allied to the best scholarly standards. The European Heart Journal is an international, English language, peer-reviewed journal dealing with Cardiovascular Medicine. European Heart Journal Open (EHJ Open) is an open access journal of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) dedicated to the entire spectrum of cardiovascular medicine, with emphasis on novel research results with the potential to improve patient care. EHJ Open is now indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals.
