Journal of Pest Science publishes high-quality papers on all aspects of pest science in agriculture, horticulture (including viticulture), forestry, urban pests, and stored products research, including health and safety issues. Journal of Pest Science reports on advances in control of pests and vectors of diseases, the biology, ethology and ecology of pests and their antagonists, and the use of other beneficial organisms in pest control. The journal covers all noxious or damaging organisms, including arthropods, nematodes, molluscs, vertebrates, plant pathogens, and weeds. The Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics is devoted to illustrating the importance of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacometrics in the understanding of drug action, therapy, design, development, and evaluation. It presents experimental and theoretical papers examining the kinetics of drug disposition and drug action; clinical pharmacokinetics; factors affecting formation and disposition of drug metabolites; dosage form evaluation from animals and humans; bioavailabilty studies, scaling from animals to humans, and in vitro and in vivo correlations. A special section is provided for papers addressing pharmacometrics, the computational and statistical methods used for the modeling, analysis, interpretation, and simulation of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data. Most published papers illustrate and apply their finding to real-world observations in animals and/or humans. Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics publishes six issues a year.

The Journal of Philosophical Logic aims to provide a forum for work at the crossroads of philosophy and logic, old and new, with contributions ranging from conceptual to technical.

Accordingly, the Journal invites papers in all of the traditional areas of philosophical logic, including but not limited to: various versions of modal, temporal, epistemic, and deontic logic: constructive logics: relevance and other sub-classical logics: many-valued logics: logics of conditionals: quantum logic: decision theory, inductive logic, logics of belief change, and formal epistemology: defeasible and nonmonotonic logics: formal philosophy of language: vagueness: and theories of truth and validity.

In addition to publishing papers on philosophical logic in this familiar sense of the term, the Journal also invites papers on extensions of logic to new areas of application, and on the philosophical issues to which these give rise. The Journal places a special emphasis on the applications of philosophical logic in other disciplines, not only in mathematics and the natural sciences but also, for example, in computer science, artificial intelligence, cognitive science, linguistics, jurisprudence, and the social sciences, such as economics, sociology, and political science.

Manuscript submissions to the JPL have grown rapidly over the past few years, putting tremendous pressure on the editors, the editorial board, and external referees.
 
In order to give JPL an opportunity to reorganize the editorial process to handle the increased volume, we have decided to suspend new submission between May 1 and October 1, 2013.  The JPL will continue with the current process for manuscripts that are currently under review.  In addition, if your paper has been 'conditionally accepted,' then please feel free to resubmit it in the usual way.  However,, if your paper has been given a verdict of 'revise and resubmit,' we ask that you not resubmit it until after October 1.We very much regret the difficulty caused by this decison to all authors of potential JPL articles, and hope that you will consider sending us your manuscripts again after October 1.  If you have any question about this moratorium, or about how it affects your paper, please feel free to write directly to Hans van Ditmarsch (hans.van-ditmarsch@loria.fr) or John Horty (horty@umd.edu).

The Journal of Physiology and Biochemistry publishes the results of original research articles and minireviews on the different topics of human normal or pathological physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and related fields.All fields of the physiology are covered, from the molecular to the global organism level. The Journal of Plant Growth Regulation is an international journal publishing original articles on all aspects of plant growth and development. Published manuscripts report question-based research using hormonal, physiological, environmental, genetical, biophysical, developmental or molecular approaches to the study of plant growth regulation. The journal offers reviews on highly relevant areas in plant growth and development, including interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis on plant growth and plant pathology or abiotic stress. The Journal of Plant Pathology (JPP) is the international journal of the Italian Phytopathological Society (S.I.Pa.V), covering fundamental and applied aspects of plant pathology.
