Mycoscience is the official English-language journal of the Mycological Society of Japan and is issued bimonthly. Mycoscience publishes original research articles and reviews on various topics related to fungi including yeasts and other organisms that have traditionally been studied by mycologists. The research areas covered by Mycoscience extend from such purely scientific fields as systematics, evolution, phylogeny, morphology, ecology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, and molecular biology, to agricultural, medical, and industrial applications. New and improved applications of well-established mycological techniques and methods are also covered.

NDT&E international publishes peer-reviewed results of original research and development in all categories of the fields of nondestructive testing and evaluation including ultrasonics, electromagnetics, radiography, optical and thermal methods. In addition to traditional NDE topics, the emerging technology area of inspection of civil structures and materials is also emphasized. The journal publishes original papers on research and development of new inspection techniques and methods, as well as on novel and innovative applications of established methods. Papers on NDE sensors and their applications both for inspection and process control, as well as papers describing novel NDE systems for structural health monitoring and their performance in industrial settings are also considered. Registered Reports: NFS Journal offers pre-registration of the study design, planned experiments, and hypothesis and, if these are deemed interesting and worth publishing by members of the editorial board and outside expert reviewers, researchers will be able to publish their pre-registered studies in the journal irrespective of the outcome of the experiments, as long as the experiments have been performed accurately and data analyses and interpretation are according to the highest scientific standards and follow the pre-registered procedures. In order for authors to react to unforeseen and exciting results, it will be possible to report additional exploratory analyses within a specific section of the Registered Reports.

The scope of Nano-Structures & Nano-Objects involves:

• Oxide nanoparticles and nanostructures, with complex oxide/metal, oxide/surface and oxide /organic interfaces
• Inorganic semi-conducting nanoparticles (quantum dots) with an emphasis on new phases, structures, shapes and complexity

• Methods of characterization specific of the nano size or adapted for the nano size such as X-ray and neutron scattering, light scattering, NMR, Raman, Plasmonics, near field microscopies, various TEM and SEM techniques, magnetic studies, etc .

Types of article NanoImpact publishes the following article types:

• Original Research Articles: Demonstrate important new discoveries in the relevant fields;
• Critical Reviews: Comprehensively summarize and evaluate the latest developments in the relevant field;
• Frontiers: Identify potential new important areas in the relevant field.

Original Research Articles and Critical Reviews are limited to 7000 and 10000 words excluding figures, tables and references. A maximum of 6 figures/tables are allowed for research and review articles. Frontiers are limited to 2000 words, with up to an additional 3 figures and tables allowed. References are not included in this word limit. Longer articles can be considered if authors can provide a compelling argument in the cover letter. Editors will make the final decision.
