The Journal of Materials Research and Technology is a publication of ABM - Brazilian Metallurgical, Materials and Mining Association - and publishes four issues per year also with a free version online (www.jmrt.com.br). The journal provides an international medium for the publication of theoretical and experimental studies related to Metallurgy, Materials and Minerals research and technology. Appropriate submissions to the Journal of Materials Research and Technology should include scientific and/or engineering factors which affect processes and products in the Metallurgy, Materials and Mining areas. The journal does not seek or publish non technical or scientific papers or papers on case studies concerning optimization of equipments, processes and others where the technical or scientific content on the report is not heavily present. No page charges are requested from authors. The journal accepts manuscripts for publication in the following categories: Original Articles, Review Articles, Short Communications and Letters. The editorial board strongly recommends that prospective authors access the online version and analyze the published articles as a model for preparation of their papers.

Journal of Materials Science and Technology aims to enhance the international exchange of scientific activities in materials science and technology.The Journals reports principally the achievements of materials science and engineering all over the world, putting the stress on the original research papers, review articles invited by editor, letters, research notes with novelty as well as brief of scientific achievement, covering a broad spectrum of materials science and technology, encompassing:• metallic materials• inorganic nonmetallic materials• composite materialsJournal of Materials Science and Technology is indexed in ISI-web of science (SCI), EI Compendex, CA, SA, CSA, RJ, JST , Scopus and has an Impact Factor of 1.198

The Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications presents papers that treat mathematical analysis and its numerous applications. The Journal of Mathematical Behavior solicits original research on the learning and teaching of mathematics. We are interested especially in basic research, research that aims to clarify, in detail and depth, how mathematical ideas develop in learners. As our founding editor, Robert B. Davis, wrote in 1980:Scientific study is supposed to be a no-holds-barred attempt to identify key phenomena, and by building conceptual structures and collecting data, to explain and understand these phenomena.1Over three decades, our experience confirms a founding premise of this journal: that mathematical thinking, hence mathematics learning as a social enterprise, is special. It is special because mathematics is special, both logically and psychologically. Logically, through the way that mathematical ideas and methods have been built, refined and organized for centuries across a range of cultures; and psychologically, through the variety of ways people today, in many walks of life, make sense of mathematics, develop it, make it their own. Historically, this journal has sought and welcomed papers that develop detailed, fundamental understanding of how people, in realistic settings, build, retain, communicate, apply and understand important mathematical ideas.Our intended audience includes researchers who concentrate on the learning of mathematics and science, psychologists, mathematicians, cognitive scientists, teachers, teacher educators, curriculum developers, parents, administrators, and policy makers.On this basis, we especially encourage basic studies that might indicate a range of possibilities not commonly recognized. Such studies might clarify potential obstacles to student understanding of mathematics; describe and analyze relevant efforts to improve curriculum or pedagogy in mathematics, at any level, from early childhood through adulthood; offer analyses of appropriate goals for mathematics curricula for diverse student populations; and critically discuss what might be changed in curricula or in learning experiences.In addition to more formal studies, the editors welcome dialogue, discussion, and debate. We encourage authors to submit short papers that continue, extend, modify, or challenge work that has appeared in JMB.Our hope is to facilitate important progress. In the Editors view, the formal mathematical expression of economic ideas is of vital importance to economics. Such an expression can determine whether a loose economic intuition has a coherent, logical meaning. Also, a full formal development of economic ideas can itself suggest new economic concepts and intuitions.The primary objective of the Journal is to provide a forum for work in economic theory which expresses economic ideas using formal mathematical reasoning. For work to add to this primary objective, it is not sufficient that the mathematical reasoning be new and correct. The work should have real economic content. The economic ideas should be interesting and important. These ideas may pertain to any field of economics or any school of economic thought. Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA (English edition, ISSN 1000-1948) is founded in 1986 and published bimonthly. It is cosponsored by the four military medical universities of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. All of the four universities enjoy high reputation in medical science. The editorial office is in the Second Military Medical University in Shanghai.Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA publishes the most recent medical achievements of the four medical universities of the PLA and papers from aboard and all over the country in china. It mainly reports on basic medicine, clinical medicine, public health and epidemiology, military medicine, pharmacology and Traditional Chinese Medicine. And now it has readers in North America, Europe, Asia and other parts of the world.Each paper in the journal is peer-reviewed. The main purpose of Journal of Medical Hypotheses and Ideas is to remove these obstacles and provide an appropriate environment to share the huge mass of ideas of the whole medical society.

Normally in the current journals, articles that are not in accordance with the main paradigm of the medical society cannot be accepted. In Journal of Medical Hypotheses and Ideas, the editorial board is not going to edit inside the articles and change them; instead it is going to choose between the ideas and hypotheses that have been admitted to the board. In fact, the author is responsible of the ideas and hypotheses that have been expressed. As a matter of fact, all submission must pass through peer review process.

In the field of science each innovation starts with an idea, then the idea will be translated to a research protocol, and upon completing that protocol a proof of concept will be achieved. In this way an article could be published or a patent registered and the rights be assigned to the author. Journal of Medical Hypotheses and Ideas considers new or modified ideas and protocols to facilitate the process of idea sharing and innovation and also assigning some kind of right to the idea holder.

One of the intentions of Journal of Medical Hypotheses and Ideas as an international journal is to consider submissions from the global scientific community to provide a medium of communication of scientists from different parts of the world. The journal welcomes scientists from different parts of the world to share in this medium by publishing their original ideas or cooperating in editorial and review board.

The journal and the editor-in-chief of Journal of Medical Hypotheses and Ideas are members of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE; http://www.publicationethics.org) and World Association of Medical Editors (WAME; http://wame.org) and European Association of Science Editors (EASE; www.ease.org.uk) and follow guidelines and recommendations of COPE, WAME, and EASE in publication.
