Annals of Clinical Psychiatry is the official journal of the American Academy of Clinical Psychiatrists. The journal provides an international forum for information pertaining to the diagnosis, etiology, and treatment of psychiatric disorders. The journal presents original research and timely reviews on new developments in epidemiology, genetics, pathophysiology, treatment advances, and outcome research. Communications regarding published articles or offering new insights through case reports are encouraged. The Annals also publishes reviews of books that are relevant to the provision of psychiatric patient care. The journal endeavors to keep readers abreast of current topics and controversies. The emphasis is on practical knowledge that will inform clinical care.

The Annual Review of Clinical Psychology, in publication since 2005, provides comprehensive reviews of significant developments in the field of Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry. The journal covers research, theory, and the application of psychological principles to address recognized disorders, including schizophrenia, mood, anxiety, childhood, substance use, cognitive, and personality disorders. Chapters also address broader issues cross-cutting the field, such as diagnosis, treatment, social policy, and cross-cultural and legal issues.

It deals with experimental and field studies on anxiety dimensions and stress and coping processes, but also with related topics such as the antecedents and consequences of stress and emotion. We also encourage submissions contributing to the understanding of the relationship between psychological and physiological processes, specific for stress and anxiety. Manuscripts should report novel findings that are of interest to an international readership. While the journal is open to a diversity of articles, it is primarily interested in well-designed, methodologically sound research reports, theoretical papers, and interpretative literature reviews or meta-analyses. The journal publishes original contributions dealing with psychological aspects of the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders arising out of dysfunction of the central nervous system. Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology will also consider manuscripts involving the established principles of the profession of neuropsychology: (a) delivery and evaluation of services, (b) ethical and legal issues, and (c) approaches to education and training. Preference will be given to empirical reports and key reviews. Brief research reports and commentaries on published articles (not exceeding two printed pages) will also be considered. At the discretion of the editor, rebuttals to commentaries may be in invited. Occasional papers of a theoretical nature will be considered. Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology is published 8 times a year.

Archives of Suicide Research, the official journal of the International Academy of Suicide Research (IASR), is the international journal in the field of suicidology. The journal features original, refereed contributions on the study of suicide, suicidal behavior, its causes and effects, and techniques for prevention. The journal incorporates research-based and theoretical articles contributed by a diverse range of authors interested in investigating the biological, pharmacological, psychiatric, psychological, and sociological aspects of suicide.The editors of ASR are mindful of the dichotomy between general (quantitative/nomothetic) methods of research and practice and approaches that utilize specific case studies (qualitative/idiographic). Archives of Women’s Mental Health is the official journal of the Marce Society and the North American Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynecology (NASPOG). The exchange of knowledge between psychiatrists and obstetrician-gynecologists is one of the major aims of the journal. Its international scope includes psychodynamics, social and biological aspects of all psychiatric and psychosomatic disorders in women. Asia-Pacific Psychiatry is an international psychiatric journal focused on the Asia and Pacific Rim region, and is the official journal of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrics. Asia-Pacific Psychiatry enables psychiatric and other mental health professionals in the region to share their research, education programs and clinical experience with a larger international readership. The journal offers a venue for high quality research for and from the region in the face of minimal international publication availability for authors concerned with the region. This includes findings highlighting the diversity in psychiatric behaviour, treatment and outcome related to social, ethnic, cultural and economic differences of the region. Behavioral Interventions aims to report research and practice involving the utilization of behavioral techniques in the treatment, education, assessment and training of students, clients or patients, as well as training techniques used with staff. Behavioral Interventions publishes: (1) research articles, (2) brief reports (a short report of an innovative technique or intervention that may be less rigorous than a research report), (3) topical literature reviews and discussion articles, (4) book reviews. Behavioral Medicine: Relating Behavior and Health is an interdisciplinary journal of research and practice that deals with psychosocial influences on heatlh and behavior. It publishes original research studies, both experimental and clinical; evaluation studies; review articles; case reports; and book reviews. In addition, the journal welcomes three-part, coordinated submissions on a theme topic that deals in depth with (1) a review of the literature on a health problem that can be treated through the use of psychological or behavioral intervention; (2) the evidence from research for the value of the behavioral intervention; (3) an analysis of the policy implications of the therapy and means of introducing it into mainstream training and health practice. The economic impact of new or evolving therapies may be included in the discussion.
