Journal of Neurophysiology. This journal publishes original articles on the function of the nervous system. All levels of function are included, from the membrane and cell to systems and behavior. Experimental approaches include molecular neurobiology, cell culture and slice preparations, membrane physiology, developmental neurobiology, functional neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neuropharmacology, systems electrophysiology, imaging and mapping techniques, and behavioral analysis. Experimental preparations may be invertebrate or vertebrate species, including humans. Theoretical studies are acceptable if they are tied closely to the interpretation of experimental data and elucidate principles of broad interest.

The Journal of Physiology and Biochemistry publishes the results of original research articles and minireviews on the different topics of human normal or pathological physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and related fields.All fields of the physiology are covered, from the molecular to the global organism level. Special emphasis is placed on the integration of those levels in the whole-organism, with the specific contribution of the nervous and endocrine systems.The Journal of Physiology and Biochemistry also welcomes articles on nutritional studies or works related to the genomic or proteomic bases of the physiological functions.

This international journal publishes original scientific articles, short communications and reviews on all aspects of phytopathology on the population, organism, physiological, biochemical and molecular genetic level. The scope is on plant diseases induced by microbial pathogens, viruses and nematodes. Papers should address phytopathological and epidemiological aspects of plant diseases with regard to their management and control. The journal is eminently suitable for university teachers, researchers in universities, research institutes, and industry as well as for postgraduate and advanced students. The journal is a forum for the original scientific results of basic, applied, and clinical research involving any aspect of the pineal gland or its hormonal products in all vertebrate species. Essential criteria for publication are soundness, novelty, and timeliness, as well as clarity of presentation. Founded in 1909, with roots tracing back to 1818, the Journal of Plant Physiology(JPP) published landmark papers in plant physiology and is one of the world's oldest international journals in the botanical sciences.Today's modern concept of JPP welcomes submissions in biochemistry, molecular biology, physiology and functional biotechnology of plants.While a "new" or "agriculturally important" species alone is not an acceptable rationale for this journal, submission of papers exploring the diversity of species beyond current models, such as Arabidopsis, and bridging basic research with applied aspects is encouraged. Experiments should be carried out under controlled environmental conditions.Descriptive manuscripts, confirming known facts in just another species without contributing to a better understanding of the biological mechanisms involved, will normally be returned without review.
