An international, refereed journal, Gender, Technology and Development serves as a forum for exploring the linkages between gender relations, development and/or technological change. The objective of the journal is to provide a platform for original research and theorizing on the shifting meanings of gender, as it relates to advances in science and technologies and/or to social, political, economic, and cultural change. In particular, the journal is interested in addressing these in the context of transnational phenomena and engaging in dialogues that cut across geographical boundaries. 

Geo-spatial Information Science seeks to publish original research papers in surveying and mapping subjects, and related areas such as: GIS, GPS, RS, cartography, geodynamic modeling, geo-surveying, photogrammetry, graphics, physical geo-surveying, engineering surveying, and mapping apparatus. The journal aims to disseminate its original research material throughout China and the international scientific community.

Geocarto International is a professional academic journal serving the world-wide scientific and user community in the fields of remote sensing, GIS, geoscience and environmental sciences. The journal is designed: To promote multidisciplinary research in and application of remote sensing and GIS in geosciences and environmental sciences; To enhance international exchange of information on new developments and applications in the field of remote sensing and GIS and related disciplines; To foster interest in and understanding of science and applications on remote sensing and GIS technologies; and To encourage the publication of timely papers and research results on remote sensing and GIS applications in geosciences and environmental sciences from the world-wide science community. Its aims to promote discussion between the various disciplines that work on the dynamics of the lithosphere and hydrosphere.There are no constraints over themes provided the main thrust of the paper relates to Earth's internal and external geodynamics. Geografisk Tidsskrift - Danish Journal of Geography ( GT-DJG ) is an interdisciplinary, international journal that publishes peer reviewed research articles on all aspects of geography. Coverage includes such topics as human geography, physical geography, human-environment interactions, Earth Observation, and Geographical Information Science. GT-DJG also welcomes articles which address geographical perspectives of e.g. environmental studies, development studies, planning, landscape ecology and sustainability science.In addition to full-length papers, GT-DJG publishes research notes. The journal has two annual issues. Authors from all parts of the world working within geography or related fields are invited to publish their research in the journal.

Geografiska Annaler, Series A is a prestigious journal presenting new scientific results in the field of physical geography, glaciology and related subjects, with some emphasis on polar areas. The journal includes new ideas, methods and original research results which may stimulate work within various geo-sciences. Geografiska Annaler, Series A is supported by the Swedish Research Council. Also published by Wiley-Blackwell is Geografiska Annaler, Series B. Together these journals publish articles covering all theoretical and empirical aspects of physical (Series A) and human (Series B) geography. Although published in English, papers still retain a Scandinavian touch.

The journal has no specific regional profile but some attention is paid to research from the Nordic countries, as well as from countries around the Baltic Sea. Also published by Wiley-Blackwell is Geografiska Annaler, Series A. Together these journals publish articles covering all theoretical and empirical aspects of physical (Series A) and human (Series B) geography. Although published in English, papers still retain a Scandinavian touch.

One of the world's leading scholarly periodicals devoted exclusively to geography, the Geographical Review contains original and authoritative articles on all aspects of geography. The 'Geographical Record' section presents short articles on current topical and regional issues. Each issue also includes reviews of recent books, monographs, and atlases in geography and related fields.

GeoHumanities was launched as a journal of the American Association of Geographers in 2015. It publishes original peer-reviewed articles that span conceptual and methodological debates in geography and the humanities; critical reflections on analog and digital artistic productions; and new scholarly interactions occurring at the intersections of geography and multiple humanities disciplines. 

GeoHumanities includes full length scholarly articles in the GeoHumanities Articles section and shorter creative pieces that cross over between the academy and creative practice in the Practices and Curations section.

Geomechanics is concerned with the application of the principle of mechanics to earth-materials (namely geo-material). Geoengineering covers a wide range of engineering disciplines related to geo-materials, such as foundation engineering, slope engineering, tunnelling, rock engineering, engineering geology and geo-environmental engineering. Geomechanics and Geoengineering is a major publication channel for research in the areas of soil and rock mechanics, geotechnical and geological engineering, engineering geology, geo-environmental engineering and all geo-material related engineering and science disciplines.
